Yeah. NC750S. I like that too seem like a compact design for a 750cc. Personally, I still prefer SW for comfort and storage space.

Would like to consult existing owner whether they feel the center stand is secure for overnight parking? Is there any locking mechanism to prevent accidental dislodge?

Center stand won't dislodge. Never, in my 10 years of usage.

If you can lift the bike to center stand, better use it.

Hi fellow sw riders, I have the clock reset problem which it resets to 1.00 everytime I turn on ignition.

 

Checked the fuse but apparently not issues. Can recommend any workshop to check?

 

My silverwing year of manufacture is 2001. Can the hagon shocks for FJS400 2009 fit?

Yes, from Boon Siew. Quite happy with it, running in is not a problem because at 4000+ rpm is could reach 80km/h. So no different from my normal riding style. Just need to be alert because if not i will sudden press my rear brake thinking i am changing gear.

Would like to check with SW rider, is there a way for rider to trigger the use of reserve fuel? I end up with a single white mark but can't start the scooter till manual top up.

 

Super 4 has a manual toggle to use reserve, wonder SW has something like it?

When the last bar blinks (old model) or reached red zone (SW-T), the balance fuel is 3.5 to 4L.

Just go top up.

No way to insert a switch.

Hi Scooby - sad to this happen, my SW about same time as yours, couple of months back had all maintenance, belt & rollers, brakes, tyres attended to / renewed - then tried to sell but due COE less than a year sale stalled at peanuts value. Bike in storage since November, was thinking to export ? BUT now with the OMV thingy to be introduced and removal from OPEN category MAYBE the coe may go down in next few months - so decided to hang on to it - it's still in perfect accident free / good mechanical condition (maintained by AC). So will just hang on for a bit. Now I'm not riding as health / eyesight failing - so decided not to risk hurting someone out there.

been riding the single headlight wing for pass 6 month. just to check. anyone got the 'loose seat lock' syndrome? like when u sit on the seat, the seat lock will pop open. tried to adjust the lock.. cannot leh.. can advise what to do next?

i prefer double headlight on. recently i saw an advert saying that his sw has double headlight. whenever i am on the road, many sw i see have only one headlight on. i looks strange. one-eyed jack.

is it true there are some SW which are made to have double headlight on? which model? 2012 and above?

Maybe he turn on his high beam?

Low beam 1 side high beam 1 side = double headlight?

Im not anywhere near an expert on bike but tis is my 1st thought

All SW comes with single headlight on. The other being the high beam.

 

Some riders modify the connections to H4 thus can have both headlight on.
