hey bros. I was just wondering what's the point of changing to racing foot rest? is there is difference other than riding posture to a more forward stance instead of upright?

 

I'm contemplating on changing but ya, have no idea why. lol.

They want to be racer. That is the reason for racing footrest. Hence why its called racing footrest.

actually u still can sit uprightlah.. to my opinion wif racing footrest u can corner more..so to speak.. but for me when i get my bike it's already wif racing footrest but i find it abit tiring and now thinking of changing back to stock and most of the time wif wifey furthermore she is prgnant now .. i look like she not comfortable lah..anyway it's up to individual ..

You can still ride with your body posture upright with racing footrest. Unless you are one of those fanatics or racer wannabe you bend down to 'cut wind'. Hahaha! Racing footrest can let you lean down more during corners as the footrest is slightly higher. And without proper adjustments on the drum brakes once the footrest is installed, you might need to anticipate brakes earlier as the braking power might be less effective.
