Did some repairs at sh**fu today. Top Cam gasket bought at AM for $38 and service at sh**fu together with carb tuning (without servicing). Fairing was dismantled in order to service the gasket. At least 4 painstaking hours were spared without doing carb tuning.

Purpose of tuning coz my bike was "choking out air" when I ride the divvy yesterday. Plugs, plug connection hoses, air filter were checked and there's no fault.

Carb was serviced sometime back and I do not wish to service it again coz a four stroker are much cleaner than a two stroker. So,tuning was done and soon everything goes perfectly normal. Estimated expenditure : $150

Despite Hari Raya, this month is my bike annivesary. Crappy forks, shitty cone bearing and now the damn gaskets.....

( just when I thought of changing tyres, somethings always come into my way :faint: )

Quite surprised that most of you buggers have not much problems on their divvy yeah......hmmmm.

u should knw the reason y ..

bottomline... if u wan to keep the bike till it's COE ended, change "E part" will solve most of ur crap problem. Else juz play along w ur crazy horse .

Hi BA,

No matter what bike, after 5 years. There are many parts need to be serviced or replaced especially those with rubber, chain, oil etc, that is unavoidable. Their lifespan is up.

I am sure many of the burgers here have those common problem ( replace gasket/seals, carb service, fork service, steering cone service, bearing service, timming chain adjustment, valve clearance etc) Either they service but never mention or never care. In fact, diversion has lesser compare to others with liquid cool and/or chain drive.

Hi bro,

It was FW plate. I retained my old no. I decided to let go the bike coz they wiling to take higher price after a looong wait.Well, I've to top-up a few amount just to make it rd figure as to make my monthly lighter. I'm targeting by abt 2 to 3 yrs for the full settlement:thumb: As mentioned by SG, that I have a black tank cover to let go. Anybody interested can call. For those 'new' Divvy owners, just a little reminder. Stick to ONE brand of engine oil. It makes yr engine less noise n safe the gasket.............

Hi guys, still see a few regulars here. I am finally selling my yammy diverted, really hardly ride. Mileage only 23,000miles (37,000km). Like that can sell how much? Now i am drooling over the Gilera Fuoco, piaggio's 3 wheel bike. Looks like a ATV on 3 wheels, really nice, and its 500cc.

Hi bro Bats,

Don't worry bro. I'm sure your time will come for the course.

By the way, I had learnt a few new things on how to handle correctly our divvy and other stuff. These things we can't obviously get from outside. Hence, if you guys want to learn more, do let me know. I can part my knowledge.

Hi Cougar,

Haven't seen you for monthsss.

Millage will not affect the selling price much. Its the year and condition which determine the pricing.

The three legged scooter really special, eye catching and much safer.

Thanks for the advice, yes, past 2 years raising new born, very demanding. In fact my bike is like hybernating, ride once a week to maintain the engine, thats why mileage so low. I doing a silver paint job now on the bike, supposedly more popular color. If no suitable offers, will still continue to keep the bike. Since its one of a kind by Yamaha, retaining all the superbike traditions, big cc, shaft drive, touring position, carburetor engine. I still like the bike though. Selling is more for practical reasons, i now into cycling to work.
