IMO, you should stick with divvy as your choice rather than seca.

I showed my girlfriend the Seca a couple of days ago... Just now, she hinted that she prefers me to buy the Divvy9... Seems it may be sooner rather than later, hehehe....

Hi BoyBulance, I know why your bike have high fuel consumption? you like to revv alot and speed too. try to estimate your speed from junction and control yourself- in singapore no point speeding after all you'll end up braking more then enjoying the ride- Try to ride in a comfortable speed and the fine with the demerit is not worth at all.

Just my advise...:-)

just be patient your dreams to owning a D9 will be true.

thanks 4 the heads up!!! Actuali, i kinda realised some time back that my high fc is due to my riding style... Usuali i get the adrenaline rush when i accelerate sharply when moving off at junctions (isn't that wat the Singapore TP LOVES to do!!) til i reach about 79km/h (1km/h faster, and i'll be summoned for "travelling at 20km/h above the speed limit") then maintain a constant speed... So, i have come to terms about the high fc...

As for the dream of riding the D9, i've also come to terms with my current situation... If it's meant to be mine, then it'll be mine... If I can't buy it here, there's still a high chance of me buying it in Europe... (My girlfriend went online last night and started to surf for it on UK websites - tink it's to console me with the hope of a better future... dats y she's everything to me!! behind every successful man, there is a woman... she's definitely the ONE!!! :smooch:)

I posted ur posts over at the Club XJR thread...

Mr Foo, this was posted on the Divvy website... mctan is riding the STX1300, below is his posting for trip suggestions...

Sounds fun... maybe we can combine trip? but currently hospital cancel ALL annual leave due to the Flu H1N1 case.. They don't want their staff travelling overseas... :sian:

Our dear Mr Foo (Spanrry) responded dutifully... We have just confirmed a 1-day Ulu Bendul (Seremban) trip on this Sunday (10 May 09). We are inviting as many many people to join in the convoy... Below are the details of the trip:

On Sun 10 May 2009, XJR Club Singapore will be officially organising another road trip to Ulu Bendol, Seremban...

As this trip is aimed at a combined convoy of XJRs, Diversions, and maybe, an FJR1300, we have officially appointed Mr Foo a.k.a Spanrry (on the monstrous XJR1300 wif Divvy sideboxes) as our Route Captain.... He knows his way around Seremban, and all the great places to go - coz it's his hometown!!! We shall need either a Diversion or maybe the FJR to be assigned the sweeper role and tighten the convoy. As for the rest of us, we follow instructions, enjoy the trip, and ride safe!!! Safety 1st....

Ok, let's begin....

Meeting point: 0730hrs Gelang Patah Esso

0745hrs : Move off

0800 - 0845hrs : Breakfast FIRST!!! Important meal of the day...

1000hrs: Mr Foo mentions something about a mountain along the highway, so we're going to visit it and take a coupla pics....

1100hrs: We would have travelled 256km and arrived in Seremban. Have late breakfast/ brunch - Spanrry mentions rojak, etc....

1300hrs: Muzium Negeri Sembilan

1400hrs: Ulu Bendol Waterfalls.... We will be playing with water and waterfalls until evening....

1700hrs: The highlight of the trip... Chendol!!!

1730hrs: Move off for Singapore... So, we'll be able to arrive early in Singapore

However, this is a skeleton itinery, it is subject to change and depends on traffic and weather conditions...

Here are some pics of the last trip made up entirely of XJRs on 21 Mar 2009:

I missed it coz me n my gf got involved in a bike accident 3 days before the trip...

Brother Boybulance,

It was a rather nice and relaxing gathering despite warning scare of H1N1 influenza A.... *:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:* to “Never say die attitude”. But if WHO upgrade to pandemic alert 6 than better stay home... “Live to ride another day attitude”....:angel::angel::angel:

First of all, the Diversion Group welcome all bikes from different make, models and capacity to join in our gathering. We are glad that you drop by and as much as both you and your partner enjoyed this small gathering with us, we also enjoyed every moment having you... especially your enthusiastic energy within you... “Never give up attitude”.

However, you never fail to surprise and excite us with your diversion’s spirit within you. Your video clips is awesome and kudos to your partner too. By the way to capture a Diversion on the road, “no problem” but to capture many Diversions on the road requires “Professional Standard”.... well done.

Lastly thanks for demonstrating the affection and passion on the Diversion 900 with us and may this humble indispensable spirit elevate us to our next level of our friendship....

You become successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal.
