okayyyy. hahaha. IMO the bike moves along effortlessly. So yeah, planning to get this. I dont need any higher powered bike, waste of fuel for 2B. Will save up when i upgrade to 2A or 2.

2B - 29 December 2010, one time pass

2A - On going...

4 May 2011 to August 2011 - Honda NSR150SP

my ybr has a rattling sound. i checked with one shop they tell me it's coming from the fairing, not the engine. last time i had this similar problem, i had to top overhaul. wtf.

Don't be daft. Vote for change.

Who want my bike? I feel like selling. Feel only.

But my mind tell me not to. I find it very stupid of me if i sell because keeping it is the logical choice, even with the many problems now and then.

@crazydj whats your price bro?

You really want ah? I was actually joking ah. Sorry for getting your hopes up bro. But just for laughs...

FBA plate

Just changed new about/less than a month ago

1) Carb

2) Stater motor

3) Rectifier

4) Magnetic coil

5) Tires (Metzeler Tires ME 22)

6) GPR Brake hose & fluid

7) Front forks, triple tree and fork oil. Includes fork boots for the scrambler look.

8) Speedometer and tachometer

9) Clutch and brake lever

10) Mirrors

11) Intake and exhaust tappet o-rings

12) Left crankcase gasket

13) Spark plug and engine oil

14) Fuel filter

15) Acerbis hand guards

Things i need to change:-

1) Fuel tank (Tank had a small pinhole rust. Used plastic steel to patch the hole. Very effective)

2) Headlight and auxiliary light bulb (Now only high beam working)

3) Throttle cable (Although can last me a few more years, i think its time to replace it.)

Status

- Ever since i change the magnetic coil, engine can start 1 time with electric or kick.

- Gives me about 42++km/l. Still trying out with my new carb how much more it can give.

- Very smooth ride with new forks and tires.

Now, how much are you willing to pay for it? Just asking. :cheeky:

But if you tickle my balls right, i might just sell it to you. :)

Haha idk 2nd hand market price for YBR . You give me a quote rah and moi will consult wib moi dad

My advice to you is that, if you want to keep a YBR and not ride other bikes for a few years, go and buy a first hand YBR. If i knew i was gonna ride my YBR for long time, i would have gotten one first hand.

hey crazydj, you know when to change front and rear break pads?

I don't. Seriously. For the front brake, time and again i will remove it from the caliper to clean it. 2 years plus and yet it still has ALOT of material left. Same goes for my rear brake shoes.

Brake pads and shoes just last damn long on this silly machine.

Visual inspect the front... see if got any "meat" left on it..... Last time i duno... press until my YBR front brake botak the metal scrape the disc. Rear one when you hear screeching and not makan go replace the brake shoe... $3 only... what the heck might as well just change it off.

aha. free for all lah. i cannot see the "meat" man. so far i changed front break twice and rear break once in 3 years. kiasi man.

Why do you think i said i don't know how to see? Cannot see one la. I how many times i look at the thing, i cannot see any "meat" like you mean. So its more of you either remove the caliper or just agak-agak only.

That's why when xXxRatedxXx say visually inspect the front, HOW TO SEE? Haha.

But no worries la, the brake last a damn freaking long time. Maybe once in a while you got to service and sand the pads and shoes down a little every year.

The red part is the "meat"

According to the manual, you can see if from the outside, but i don't see how.

Easy. You turn the handlebar fully to the right. You squat in front of your front wheel. See the pads from the left side of the sports rim. You can see the pads, no doubt. But you cannot see the surface of it, so its rough or smooth or uneven you also wont know until you take it out. Sometimes got alot of pad left, but make so damn noisy sound. Take it out and inspect it from there.

Pros:-

Whatever you can put on an RXZ, you can put on a YBR. Shares many parts.

@crazydj, can an RXZ footrest fit onto the YBR? Or require mods (i.e. ''racing footrest'')?

I'm not too sure about that. Because on the YBR, the footrest is a large assembly which you connect to the frame. If you want to change the left side, you need to remove the whole thing.

I think no.

Its a good bike for daily transport. If you want speed or good looks, then this is not the bike for you. If you are like me, the kinda bo chup uncle or dispatch rider, this bike will help you grow your savings... :cheeky:
