it is obviously a race bike.. and bikes used in motogp races are not street legal..

btw wat brand issit? dun even haf the non-motogp version of this? just the stock ?

it's ktm.. as u can see frm the pic.. ktm is more popular for its scramblers if im not wrong.. haven seen any ktm sportsbike in singapore.

 

i dun tink can import or wat la.. not street legal. use for races only.

 

the range of 2b sportsbike is damn small la... see here see there only those few. krr sp tzm rs125 mito and maybe a few more im nt sure. i dun think there any others are availabe in singapore

In sg don't haf ktm sports bike one. If u like the design u can buy a SP or wad then respray to this design lor.

i like the shape of the bike.. sp/krr too small.. a aprilia at least ok.. but aprilia spray this paintwork sure looks weird..

 

got any shop b4 u spray paintwork hor.. they will like use the computer n edit show u hw the bike will look like b4 proceeding? like design on the com first b4 doing..? dun think got such shop in sg?

actually rs125 got the same shape as the bike in the pic wat. not the 2006 version though.

 

i dun tink so.. think they just draw on paper or show u photos lor. or u can show them a picture of the paintwork u want.

really mehz they will draw ah? lol.. wana paint my future aprilia orange & black.. duno how lehz.. no idea how 2 design.. the base orange lah.. den the design color black.. for car eg the hoot, spoiler.. but bike no hoot no spoiler.. haha..

Well, you've got 2 choices:

 

Design the stickers using a computer (be it a logo or a few large stripes on the bike). Then, have the stickers cut-out at a sticker shop, paste the stickers and then go for a lacquer paint job.

 

Do you know a little Photoshop? You could splash some paint here and there and voila, a bike design is born.

 

The second way is to get the paint experts to visualize what you really want. I call this the "I Want It That Way" method. Get magazine cutouts of motorcycles with paint jobs that you want and show them. Or tell them what you want -- but you risk not getting the exact thing that you've thought of.

 

Anyways, nice 2 stroke bike, IMO. Really redefines what riding 2-stroke bikes is really all about and it spices up the thrill factor when you own this...

it seems funny dat for road legal use KTM only has scramblers,but not sportsbike.if they use their 125/250 racing knowledge and make a sportsbike for road use,it will be pretty cool..

hmm.. so i just show the shop that orange KTM bike den paint the aprilia s according xcept 4 the KTM word huh.. feel like mask 1 side of the headlight and spray a number like a track bike kind of feel lolx.. or can just buy the "cover" den spray over den nrml riding remove.. den when go track or wat cover back ? which is more practical..

 

btw my fotoshop suk.. lol.. i only know how to anyhow splash the brushes on the pics.. some ppl who r good can get the bike color.. den like repaint/redesign wif their designs.. saw some ppl do tat 2 their car.. so pro.. can even upsize the rims add spoiler, bodykit..

bigger den aprilia or same size? nv saw a mito n aprilia real upclose b4.. but so far only manage 2 saw 1 @ my sch carpark.. quite nice.. look like 2a bike.. but nv sit on it hear it's sound.. mito is nv saw b4 but on road got.. but still cannot really tell much on road unless like park down i explore abit..

KTM already has road bikes (Adventure 950, 950SM), but these are huge 2 cylinder monsters.

 

With available proven dirt motors ranging from 125cc to 300cc, it remains to be seen if KTM thinks it is worthwhile going into the 2 stroke sportbike market.

I think this bike just needs some wings and it's ready for take off.. Crazy!!! I remember seeing a mag that has this story of a mech that bought an old 125cc GP bike and swap it with a 650cc 4-stroke motocross engine.. Wonder how will that chassis handle the brute torque..
