CBR150 or the latest CBR125....

In fact most FI biikes are not as frugal their carb counterpart...and can be expensive to replace....

Sporty look I think FZ150 falls out of this group..

Want good Fuel consumption then KRR is out too.....

i guess you cannot have all.. cbr150 should be the closest.. sporty look and good fc according to my friend who rides it.. comfort should be fz150i as you sit in a upright position..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

CBR is the choice becos it is a honda, high resale value

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

i bought my krr 1 month ago, for me i think its okay. no problem at all, and fuel consumption around 26-30km/l.

just... my girlfriend dont like it, she miss my scooter so much. for passenger, its not comfortable, maybe im too slim so she can't hug me tight and always slip down from her seat..?

CBR 150, KRR 150 and FZ150i, what do you guys think?

For comfort, for fuel consumption, for sporty look?

CBR150R

  • Comfort: Lean forward, hunched. Pillon comfort = zero, also leaning forward
  • Fuel Consumption = Up to 40km/l
  • Sporty Fairing, Very slim.... can squeeze here and there
  • Faster than the FZ but loose to the other 2 two strokers
  • Best of all... since its fairly rare OTR, the insurance category falls under "others".... yes the insurance is same as an Rx-K!

omg..u like exactly the same bikes i do  think its good to go sit on the bikes and try out which is most comfortable/visually appealing

krr-> sporty, more aggressive riding position, poorer fc (abt 24km/l depending on mods/riding style), not the best pillion seat ^^;;

cbr150-> excellent fc (abt 35-42km/l), less aggressive riding position-less stress on hands and back, electric start

'sportsbike' in looks..

fz150i-> relatively new bike, glimpsed a few on the road but dunno why their thread seems quite inactive....o.0

impression: slim naked bike more comfortable, not as sporty but still a looker, fc also quite good, suspension reputedly quite soft tho

edit: curious, u asked abt cbr150 vs krr150 and got krr alr? so how come now still comparing.....

I will choose KRR.

1997 TZR 125 - 1998 FZ 150 - 1999 GSXR 400K - 1999 RX 100 - 2000 LC 125 - 2001 TZR 125 - 2002 CB 400 Ver S - 2006 CBR 929 - 2006 GETZ 1.4 - 2009 STEED 400 - 2016 ???

Riders ride to work. Drivers work to drive.

as below mentioned about CBR

I'm riding a KR now.. thus i feel KR is better.. FC is not a main issue once you have ride it... it will onli become a issue if you need it purely for transport and nothing else.. :D:D

CBR is too thin.. Not suitable for MOST guys..

FZ150 - no comment as i didn't really notice it on the road.. :D sorry about it..

KR150, not as big as SP but still bigger den the 2 bikes that you mentioned.. able to go fast, pick up fast, depends on the setting.. if you need FC, you can tell the bike shop and they will re-adjust for you... of cuz, pick up and speed wise will depends on how much fuel you wishes to save... :)

Anyway, that's my 2 cents of comment..

lolx.. my fc not so good.. cause mod to have pick up and my bike have quite a few of weird mod... keke.. thus FC suffers because of the weight.. and mod.. pick up and end speed...

anti slip seat? those with dots or shinny one? keke.. i'm using those with dots de.. they also called as anti slip.. :(

ya, it's true finally i get a krr on april.. but soon my gf complain to me about the seat.. so i decide to let it go.. actually this is a good bike, good fuel consumption (ofcuz cannot compare to 4 stroke bike..) and good 2t consumption too. but if wanna take gf to walk around or use it as transportation to work, it's painful..

cbr, krr is out of my mind now, so now im consider the fz150i or others, but my gf she like the nouvo lc (nouvo elegance in singapore i think..)..

headache... dunno which one to choose.

aww..thats sweet of ya =) hope u manage to find a bike u both like :thumb:
