needed Had been riding a YZF R1 2years back, now riding a Suzuki GSXR 600 K5. Got no experience in Italian Superbikes, can any bros here offer some help... For example, what are the commons parts that will spoil easily, and how long to service the timing belt??? What are the things to take note of, and what are the do and don'ts...

Ducati 749 Dark selling at 24K. Bike is ridden for a year, mileage is 3500 kilometers. Comes with Termignoni Slip-ons, and Racing Chip. Single sitter, riders race seat. Carborn fibre front fender and back hugger. Ducati original high bubble windshield.Is it worth it????

The two 999, one belong to neo, the other own by obitrok.

 

The other duke with the double seater own by redrocket is a 998R, the only one in Spore with a sand cast engine!

 

The one with the single seater is a 748. Pratically look the same, until u fire up the engine, higher CC usually produces deeper more bassy output!

Hi bro! Your concern is understandable. Most of us had been in your shoes before.

The thoughts of timing belts, electronic problems, maintainance of the v-twins......

it can keep u thinking all nite long...hahaha..

 

Wat u actually need to take note is the riding habit.... V-twin is nothing like the 4 in line u used to own. No offence i still keep a Honda.

 

As to speak, price does not justify the value of a classic machine....

The bikes you used to ride are all quite peaky motors, especially the GSXR600, quite different from a 749. It has much more torque everywhere, but lacks the top end rush of the GSXR600, which to some (or most), makes it more appealing. The 749 requires a different style of riding, which can be more fun too. And the sound.... That alone is enough to seal the deal~!

 

 

But I think 24k for such a low mileage bike with all those accessories is a good price.
