Went to service my 999 last week. And they told me that my instrument panel got problem. They can't reset(turn off) my maintenance icon.

The result is that I have to change my panel. Did any you guys have this problem??:help:

its a common problem. change it asap. the replacement is a better, sturdier piece.

heh heh, yo james. i just changed my tyres, gonna go to the track soon. the new diablo corsas are great with a reduced rear tyre profile. (from 190/50 to 180/55).

want to go PG? im a track newbie, so i need some guidance.

Hi obitrok,

Hw much u change yr tires? At where?

I am using 180 rear too.Much better than 190 in steering and turning.

Try going on wkdays instead of wkend as nt too crowded.

Jus call me if going. We can exchange pointers.

yup, next week will be fine. i gotta take leave. my bike mileage is about 7000kms now.

i waited a few months for the panel to come which is quite a long time.

Judging from your case where they told u they have to order, it will roughly take the same time as it took for me. anyway, the instrument panel will work fine even with the icon.

Sorry guys,

My bike was just knock down by someone who is parking his bike next to mine. It suffer some scraches and the left mirror holder is broken. I m going to send it to minerva for insurance claim tomorrow morning. I believe it will take sometime for my bike to be on the road.

So I don't think I can make it to track for the following weeks (maybe months).

So you guys enjoy. :cheer:

Obitrok,

I'm actually thinking of going to PG on Tuesday, 27 April, assuming the track's not booked and the weather is OK. Only problem is I won't know if I have that day off until Monday. Can't make it on Wednesday for sure...

Cheers,

JT
