86KM from a full tank just before the light comes on??? Waaaah Bro, what model are u riding... It can't be such high FC...

A duke has an average 15 litres tank with at least 3 litres for reserve. Meaning to say u travel on 86KM for 12 litres? Correct me if i am wrong, do U mean what I have stated? Unless u are riding a Desmo, if not there is really something wrong....

yeah you got it right, let me try another couple of tanks, bike is 1098s, the riding has been mostly round town, but I'd still expect about 150km?

Cheers

It doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is more power!

U should get around 150km to 180km before the reserve light comes on.... If it's still the same, i suggest u should get the attention of ur trusted meachanic to check it out for U ASAP.... Enjoy ur ride....

hi, can some one intro me a shop/mechanic that know and understand and specialize in setting up suspension? i'm riding a 999s now.

the rer suspension is so damn hard can!!! and the front like kinda soft. :( . i believe if i track the bike in this condition, the rear is going to slip like HELL!!. maybe is cos the previous owner is heavy and i'm just 60kg.

people, please intro me a shop that i can rely on doing great suspension setting for me.

WINZ,

you can set up the suspension yourself, but please bear in mind the TOTAL load/weight (you, suit, helmet, boots) that you're putting on the suspensions. (ideally, the suspensions should be setup such that when the bike hits a bump, the amount of travel through the forks and the rear shocks are about the same). setting up the forks and shocks can be easily done with a C spanner, a screwdriver and some other tools. you would want to set up your forks too when you're adjusting your rear shocks. all these can be done properly with help from a couple of frens, and then fine-tuning it to your preferred riding style...

Google "suspension setup" and you'll see loads of pages teaching you how to do it. "Sag", "rebound", "Preload", etc... you'll learn more reading up on these than asking a random mechanic to setup the suspensions on your bike. if you go to the track, tune it slightly harder for better feel/control...

did it myself on my monster and it tracks brilliantly...

i've got a video which teaches you how to do this if you like. i dunno how to post it here so shoot me a pm if you're interested.

hi,

rizomas at motoworld. need to order. they'll tell you waiting time is 1 month.

i'm looking for the 'reverse retro' ones too...

your best bet will have to be eBay. they've got lots to choose from... CRG, Oberon, Rizoma...

alternatively, http://www.pjsparts.com. they carry rizoma's and heard from the guys from US that the service standards is pretty high...

Anyone knows where to get windshield screw sets?

It seems that the nuts are enclosed in a rubber sleeve and not so common in the normal hardware shops...

Any suggestions other than the dealer?
