Hi Guys, any of u had experience when u twist ur throttle ur bike just did not pick up speed and the engine rev out loud..? Is it due to my fuel pump? Im riding 1098 btw. Thanks.

the number plate could have been changed. 2011 matt black is rare and would have been repainted. does it have a red frame and is it a base model?

my fren just bought at 2011 matt black diavel no plate 31. Any ex owner or fren of ex owner here?

you could go to ebay and source for em there.. reasonably cheaper then getting brand new from MM

 

thx bro. now looking for d handguard. shifter n footpeg already boughht for minerva. my left tank cover is scratch. any idea which shop can restore it back? wanna buy a new one from mm haf to wait 1 mnth.

Dont buy new not worth it especially from agent. Way too expensive. Just go any reputable spray shop they can do it for u if its just scratches

just bought a second hand 848 evo. Been riding it for abt 3 days. I realized that i can only manage to utilize only the fifth gear which will 'cruise' ard the highway at 110-115km/h(minimum) while playing with 3rd and 4th gear for other major roads. Does it hurt the engine if i dun utilize the 6th gear(only possible if the speed is more than 115km/h, below than that it will vibrate(rpm too low)) and would it affect the engine or even the clutch plates if i frequently play with engine brakes? Thanks guys, i really need ur feedback as i want to ride it properly….

Thats quite normal for duke. I used gear 4 most of the time. If the traffic is smooth, I will get it into gear 5. But thats very rare traffic condition. One a month, I will do a ride to malaysia to run the gear 6.
