All my various parts have arrived from around the world, except the slip ons, so my 998 will be going into the shop probably tomorrow to get some work done. Hopefully all comes out nice! Have my sargent seat sitting at home as well so I'll put that on when I get bike back, bring on the very small measure of comfort!

2. Showa front forks - streetfighter, should fit 1098 & 848

3. Showa rear shock - streetfighter, should fit 1098 & 848

4. Stock clutch - fit all ducati with dry clutch

5. Stock right mirror - streetfighter, should fit Monsters

6. Stock rider seat - streetfighter

7. Stock Tail light - streetfighter

8. Stock mud guard - streetfighter

If all goes well, I will probably be a proud owner of a Ducati 848 Evo in early June.

 

Just a few questions for experienced owners of Ducati.

 

Did some quick read-up, understand that there are some service required at 7,500km & 12,000km. Would anyone able to shed some light so I can have a gauge to costs?

 

Is there anything special I need to look out for while shopping for this beauty? Or any other costs I should be aware of?

 

If it helps, my last ride was an 06 r6, but being a Ducati, I just wanna be sure of what is required.

The last time i got a quote from XXXX bikeshop is at 1.2k for 12000km service.. it is so call the 'full service for ducati. But if you go to other bikeshop (those not so famous but trustworthy) it will cost you average about 700-800plus, it depend on what you wan to do.
