Hi bros,

I just bought a 2nd hand TA200. Need to change both tyres soon.

Any advice where to get them cheaper? SIN or JB?

Asked at Hua Chin -Bt Batok, quoted me $60 for Dunlop front new tyre. 2nd hand will cost $40. Thanks.

Kaki Bukit or Toh Guan

They have good promotion for changing tyres,

Recently got a Metzeler Lazertec, so far so good. The road gripping in road and wet is still there..

$160 for 2 at planet motors.....

Hi all,

ordered some Metzeler Lasertecs from Bangkok and got them posted up to north Thailand.

They gave me the Lasertec rear but a Metzeler ME Speed front (same size 100/80).

Can't find any info in English, but google translate seems to suggest it's a sportier compound or tread design than the Lasertec.

Not as much much tread as the Lasertecs though sonot sure if they'll be better or worse in the wet...

The 60km ride home yesterday felt really good.

Running 32 PSI front and back feels nice and responsive. Changes direction quicker than the stock IRCs did with same pressure.

Hello to all, my first post so please be patient.

I have just purchased a Phantom Fire edition, June 2008 first registered and it comes with Dunlop tyres. Dunlop Arrowmax GT501F 100/80/17 52 H on the front and Dunlop K555 140/80 - 15 67 H on the rear, both done about 300km. I would like to know what pressures other users have used and found ok. Tried looking on the net and Dunlops site but no help.

Any help apreciated,

Your tyres are oversized. The normal phantom tyres are 200 psi front and rear. Some pump 220-240 for rear tyres. Yours are slightly larger so I am not sure. I think the same tyre pressure should work ok for your tyres.

guys.. jux an update.. changed my tyres to Metzeler Lasertec for $109 at unique this morning... pretty good offer whilst stocks last...

and i hv to say, though i dun dare corner much since its still new, i did manage to feel that the tires are really really shiok! considering i've been riding on old tyres for more than a year since i got the bike, the change in rubber made my ride even more fun!!!

oh.. and btw.. the rear tyre threads seems different from the one in the pic.. will take a pic n post it here ltr..
