yup, totally agreed... i tink for 10 disciplined rider... there will another at least another 15 rider that is not...

 

Btw wat happen to Vivocity bike parking?? anything happen b4 last time? was it free parking last time?

 

vivocity was free for bikes ard 4 yrs ago if i remember correctly. now it charges super high... probably to capitalize on the fact that sentosa still dont have parking for bikes...

ive always hated the fact that sentosa does not allow bikes. then always have to park at seah im and walk over, take the skytrain to the beach. cant we just ride in, and park at the beach car park just like the cars?

 

not gonna take up alot of space, and definitely plenty more people will go. when will the mgmt of sentosa wake up?

Yes! I went to the resort world the otherday and they refuse to let me in the carpark even when I told them I will pay the same as the car. End up parking some where near vivo and walk all the way in... Wonder if they are thinking that they can't earn much from motorcyclist...zzz

Btw I don't think there will be any entry for bikes to sentosa. Because frankly speaking, there are many corners there. And to say the truth, how many of us ( bikers) will really treat the roads there as roads? Or tracks? Haha

Totally cannot cross the causeway/ bridge to Sentosa.

against it.. simple reason :: have seen weddings with convoy in hdb flats.

bikers big and small will always wanna throttle up (high revs) before commencing convoy.

imagine new born babies and/or children having afternoon naps.. not forgetting the elderly..

making a nuisance of themselves, how childish..

if even hdb like that, one can forget about sentosa..

the curves simply beg you to corner "if you dare" something like OUR Route 99..

so i guess this petition is pretty much busted..

today I wake up thought wan jio friends go sentosa..

 

suddenly remember cannot ride in.. must park at seah im interchange and carry towel, spare clothes, slipper, helmet, jacket(cos my bike no box) and

1) cross the road

2) enter vivo,

3) go up.. pay money

4) wait about 5mins for the train

5) wait in the train for another 10mins

6) alight and walk to the beach

7) at last put down all my stuff

8) realize that I have to do it all again to go home..

 

I decided not to go sentosa...

Very soon Motorcycles would be allowed into Sentosa via RWS entrance. Bike lot is located at the basement carpark entrance to Equarius hotel (Already completed and handed over to RWS).

 

From what i know, it should have at least 50 slots which can park 70++ bike.

The point is... yes they have property there, but they are RIDING INTO sentosa, from what I know, even staff are allowed to.

 

Moreover the rangers are also on BIKE.

U know how many rempits and motosiao type riders there are in SG?

 

In their view, why ruin the atmosphere in Sentosa plus open up more chances for accidents there by letting potential trouble in?

 

So only staff and residents can ride. This reduces the population of bikes there. Besides, staff and residents will behave in their own backyard. And if they don't, it'll be easier to track the bike that tried to fuuck around, because the list is only that short.

sentosa bridge will be good drag strip for PCX and Getz
