Modification on Toyota Vios

Hi guys,i just bought a Vios last saturday and planning to do up the car slowly,anyone can give me some ideas and the places tat i can do the modification??

anyone noe can i get the tinted plastic to paste onto the upper part of the front window glass from preventing the sun glare to shine straight into ur eyes

any car acc shop.lian song,car beauty,JB 10-15sgd plain.take note should not be more than 6" height

 

things to mod.

 

filter to s/s or open pod

extractor change to 4-1 after market

de-cat

lighten car(yourself/light weight rim/CF bonnet/remove heavy things etc)

change coilover for better traction and control

front/room/rear strut bar

front/rear underbrace

light weight alu crankpulley

change gear ratio final drive

change rotor

change exo to tte/hks(legal)

change ecu

change fly wheel

add in turbo

 

why mod?

a 1.5 is still a 1.5.

mod already heavy FC than u start complain..

is call sunshade, sticker shop will do it. i tot vios have a "famous" performance workshop by their own forumer that can proclaim can eat rex one i think is wat "D performance" or something.

 

It really boils down wat kind of mods you wanna perform on, like: exterior, interior, performance etc etc.

 

Hardcores will go straight for a mini turbo to their vios with supporting mods. If stock step by step.

 

Just like to check if you're car is pre-own or new? If pre-own you should always go for a throughout servicing like reverse brakes bleeding, re-tune, flush EO, flush coolant. These stuffs will be more impt than focusing on which aftermarket parts to go for atm.

 

After maybe sometime when u r sick with ur torque and hp, can always consider a piggyback ecu and re tune it with a leaner AFR with a aftermarket exos + custom cai.

well IMHO i dun think vios really required front / rear strut or too many of those bars, it will just add a whole load of weight to the vehicle. Maybe a bigger size ALK could see the difference. Just to highlight these are not meant for track purpose.

But Vios can seriously be good in the track with just some suspension settings and stuff with stock engine and its light body etc.

Is ok to mod watever car the person wish as long the person is happy, whether rice or race is another thing to discuss on. If have the dough why not

exterior like bodykits? aftermarket tail lamps? stickers, emblem, curtains, window tinting, running led, ccfl etc etc..

 

performance: td04? gt35 (might be too oversize)? unichip, billion air funnel, ah man exos, upsize injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail etc etc?

 

Standby 10k or more to do man. Prepare to eat, sleep, bath, wash ur underwear at the workshop with them
