Exclusive track riding clinic for 2B riders only.

 

 

Date: Saturday 3 Oct 2009

Time: 8 AM to 10 AM.

Cost: $30 for track fees payable at the track itself.

 

Limited to 10 riders only... that's all I can handle.

 

Safety Gear: Leather suits is optional. Minimum you must have is a full face helmet, gloves, boots or riding shoes that cover your ankles, jeans with knee guards preferred and jackets with armour preferred...its your skin anyway.

 

Coaching is free.

 

What will be taught:

1. Suspension and tyres set up for track riding.

2. Correct posture for corners.

3. Braking, dowshifting and acceleration points.

4. How to read corners and the correct gearing and linings through them.

5. Track rules and discipline.

 

We will walk the track to understand and appreciate the linings through the corners. On track guidance will be given as you ride if you need it. The aim of this session is to make you a safer track rider and how to take corners in the correct way. You will learn the techniques of track riding and how to ride fast... but how fast you go is up to your own ability to learn fast.

 

This is not a race session nor a session to teach you how to race. Its for you to learn about your own riding ability and the handling of your machine.

 

But most of all.. its for have an enjoyable time trying out track riding without all the high speed demons scaring you.

y not u ask shops like JW or 219 quotation for FIAT decals.

Do ur maths frm there.

 

but of coz, it is more hassle-free if juz dump additional $600 wif the design on ur new bike.

1 guy managed to clock 135km/h. But his weight is 60+ kg.

 

i've got a big AR$E and my weight almost 100kg, thus cud onli get 123km/h.

 

R15 got no power lei bro as compared to SP or KR or even R125.

unless u fix Racing KIT, sadly not available in SG yet. Can check youtube.

i think excel motorcycles got the fiat paintwork one, very unique and eyecatching. if decals then not worth it though

hmm..for my case, i wouldn't even want to rev up my r15 top speed coz my engine might be out of tune to the RPM..

 

for better performance catching up with the rpm, i would run in my engine 1000km->3000km->5000km->8000km till it hits 8001km then i will rev UP my top speed to my best...every service i will increase my top speed by 10km/hr...currently now im at 90km/hr my top speed..

 

so ppl outhere wanna beat up other 2B bikes, be patient! wait ur engine running in has already desire to its limits...

I Looking at R4...wonder when it is coming

apparently it might be a electical problem light on dashboard..

 

im currently half following the manual..

keep revs under 5k rpm..(usually 4.5k)

manual says 4k and dun maintain at 5k

meaning i can only go up to 70km/h

this is a killer on expressway...

 

once i hit 500km

will keep revs

 

anyone doing the same?

or am i too conservative?
