hahaha...its still alive and kicking. i think got taxed too much is all :) still, its no fun leading a ride on the mito...very tiring to ride at lower speeds and start/stop style too...much better for long solo and faster rides.

i'll lead with my TW200 only in the future :) even if it means i'll be late a little bit :)

What do you mean you'll be late? Mito is meant for track ma, that's why I never considered sports bike because of my commuting needs. My back will probably ache. Better lead with your tw, my ybr isn't a fast bike too. haha!

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

i was going to get home and switch bikes before going for the ride last night. but doing that would mean i'll be late for the meetup. i don't like being late so decided to just go directly.

still like the mito very much. will have to sayang it a little more :)

@nabil15: i have posted 2 rides and will post more over time. surely will have opportunity to ride on new roads :)

at this point of my riding, i enjoy the act of riding. any road that is quiet works for me. so i go back to my old favourites all the time. but now and then some new places beckon and its time to go exploring...like yesterday :)

so when you feel the bug biting, don't resist...just go with the flow and you will discover nice and new roads for riding too ;)

I went out for a ride last night with Nabil on my Mito...and it did not go well for me. I was blogging this morning and felt compelled to take another ride...this time on my faithful TW200. Here is a report on how that ride went :)

Here's a link to the gallery if you prefer to just view the pictures :)

nice sigg! turut track there veli nice to corner (not those extreme kinds), plus veli windy, a very "free" feeling and nice view! :thumb:

hey simon...sorry for disappearing a while after the last week ride... even though it is a sg ride, it is still pretty exhausting especially when I have to work the next day.... but the curves you brought us to is fantastic!!! :thumb::thumb:... never tot there is still so many wonderful roads in sg I have yet been to. Thank you.

I wish I could join your 10oct early morning ride....duh...clashes with the canon photomarathon...got to save energy for this event as it is a whole day event running round the whole island....if necessary....

PS. Personally, I feel that your TW200 looks good in white. *shrugs*

@coolthought, JackOhJack: i am fine. unfortunately, my bike is not :( it is now in the workshop and will be there for 2 weeks as some major parts need to be replaced. how this came to be is a true mystery given the stories told to my by different parties. but sticking to the facts tell a very different tale. for now, lets just say it is a major operation...and i will write more about it when everything is clarified.

thanks for your concern :) made my day!

Get Well Soon (your bike, scubasimon).

scubasimon - can't quite remember if you've mentioned about riding through the Jalan Lam San/Chichau stretch which links Old Jurong with Brickland Roads before - just curious to know if it is even passable to normal traffic - it's one part of Singapore that I've yet to see.

Will possibly join yous all in a couple of weeks time - been a while since I last rode for leisure and taking snapshots (busy with work lately :faint:), so I'm really looking forward to some good riding with great company :)

Actually heading up north this Saturday - nope, not riding but driving - to Tebrau City with the kid and family) It's about the only place I've been to (in JB) when I used to ride my Honda Wave (easier to blend in) upstate to watch movies for half the price of what we have pay here - haven't been back there since I sold off my wave.

Hello. Was recommended to this thread by a fellow forum-er. I enjoy taking photographs too, but I'm don't have a DSLR and I'm not a pro. So currently using my humble Panasonic LX3 to take photographs.

BTW I'm not a rider (or rather, not yet because no $ to buy bike haha) but a pillion. Nonetheless, I still make myself useful by taking shots (on the bike) while my bf and I travel to different places.

Here are some shots:

Taken along the NSHW while returning from a Port Dickson trip

Travelling to Cameron Highlands at 1+ am.

Reached one of the rest stops at 6+ am. Watched the sun lit up the whole sky

A shot taken of my friends while I was on the bike as a pillion.

Beautiful backdrop of an impending sunset in Cameron Highlands. Taken from the balcony of my hotel room

One of the highest point of Cameron Highlands while we were trekking Mount Brinchang. Taken by my bf

hey Chewbacca...yes, i did give that stretch a try...but unfortunately, it is not passable to road bikes...and there is a guard there. i was there late at night on one of our rides though. i will try it again on a weekend...just to try my luck. cos it looks like a really nice trail!

enjoy your trip up north!!
