haha depend your got extra cash anot lo. i see before at suntec a ang mo riding ducati just put his arai astro on his seat with a bicycle chain to lock it nia

If only time can roll back,i wish i can go back to my 2b times. Where bikers are friendly and helpful..

i think its harder to break a bicycle chain than most plastic boxes. might be easier to just take the visor from the helmet but i think the rich angmoh has like a few hundred spares at home cos its a daily occurrence.

For that few moments while shopping or parking, I'd put my shoei, arai and nolan in box. But I'd never leave them when I'm done for the night. They go home with me. My box is empty at the end of the day.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I lost my Ram II when i parked my bike outside St James.

Some a** broke open my rear box & got a FOC Arai Ram II!

Best part of it is that it all happened within 15 mins!

I was supposed to pick up my fren from Vivocity to go for dinner!

I would advise any1 not to leave their ex helmets in e box

as u neva noe who's eyeing on ya helmet! :(

LOL.. thieves can treat the whole box as a toilet if they want.. by that time you will really curse and swear..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

If expensive helmet, carry with you. If cheap SUMO like mine, or lets say EVO II or a helmet that costs slightly over a $100, just put in yout box. The fact that we own motorcycles aready puts us in the position where our bikes or things on our bikes will get stolen.

I tried to break open a motorcycle box (mine that is) to drill holes to mount it on my rack. Its very very easy to drill through. Much harder to drill thrugh wood or acrylic. So if you love your helmet so much, don't risk it. It may be wrong to steal, but people will still do it. Why not just carry the helmet with you? Then can show people that you "Lacer" mah. Then cool sommore. ;)

Yup, I like the feeling of carrying a Arai rr4 FF around and returning to my automatic cub kia with P plates.

Where to store your helmet while outside should never be part of your helmet selection process.

If there are security concerns with leaving the helmet in your bike box, then take it along with you. I don't see why carrying a helmet around should be such a big issue that it out-weighs the price of your head.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

But people do judge you when you carry a helmet around. With all due respect, people have the notion that you're a thug or cannot afford to buy something because you ride a bike. I experienced this first hand with my friends. They would rather talk to me and try selling their products to me than my friends who carry their helmet. Or.. perhaps, i seem more approachable. :) Hell, i went to parkway Giant and they didnt even have any motorcycle engine oils! Just car EO no motorbike EO! I spent a good 20 mins searching but to no avail!
