Hehehe...I gave someone a ride on my TW the other day and she mentioned that it was so much more comfortable than a sportsbike that she almost forgot to hang on tight...and only realized she had to when we moved off from a traffic light!

I think getting used to each kind of bike's riding position is an art...took me awhile to get used to the TW...and then the Mito...but I suppose those are two extremes and the rest should be easier. Then again...the bigger bikes...gotta get used to the weight...hahaha!

I used to hold a Phantom, Super 4, and R1 at one go. So I had a 2B cruiser, 2A road bike and CL2 sportbike. I cycled thru the bikes regularly and got used to multiple riding positions.

Now, if only I can get a couple more bikes, that I can get accustomed to the missionary and sixty-nine positions more comfortably.....

@Figila: hahaha...i don't have a problem with hitting the tank anymore as i have adapted my posture. i find the most comfortable one being to sit further back and grip the bike with my ankles and knees. then my back is more relaxed and my weight is on my feet...and my hands are not supporting my weight on the handlebar...so its now a lot more comfortable.

however, braking still puts weight on my wrists and stresses out my shoulders...so in start/stop traffic it is quite bad for my shoulders. but if traffic is clear...it is heaven!

i did bang my balls on the tank the other day (a few weeks ago before Christmas i think) along Scotts Road when the car in front of me braked suddenly from 30kph to zero. i squeezed my rear brake a little too hard and had a short skid...and then grabbed my front brake too hard and did a stoppie right there (from 30kph!)...so the rear of the bike came right up...and my dear balls...met the tank violently.

hahaha! lesson learnt :)

lol nice. alot of people's first stoppies in life are accidental. thank god for he only sacrificed your balls that day lol~

@zyrofillica: hahahaha!!! seriously though...it wasn't just my balls that was aching badly...because of the stoppie, my entire butt lifted off the seat...legs flung up...then everything crashed back down...bike on the road...me on the bike...balls on the tank...so my right thigh was also pulled...dang...it was a PAINFUL ride back home...

...but still fun :)

Fun is banging your balls the tank? You're masochistic aren't you. :D

I remember banging my balls on the tank. Was in BBDC for my 2A bumpy course. Engine stalled on the bumps while I was standing high on the pegs astride the tank.

To prevent a tipover from such a vantage height, I leapt off the pegs and landed my balls on the tank.

I still recall telling the instructor "I'm OK... I'm OK" in a 2-octave higher voice with tears pouring non-stop from my eyes.

haha...yah...last night i had a pillion on my bike with me...dang...it was WAY HARDER to keep the balls away from the bloody tank.

so folks...when you pillion someone...how do you manage? also...the pressure on the hands automatically become worse because the pillion's weight is now on me.
