Hi guys, this is the shop in Bangkok some of you were asking me about.

It's near this street called Worachak.

Take a bike taxi to get there, they know the place. (Bike taxi is the same price as a normal cab though)

Hi guys, has anyone installed an off market straight pipe exhaust before? I intend to installed on my knight hence appreciate your input / feedback on the pros and cons. Thanks

If you install this type, you will have a strong deep bassy sound and a slight struggle during move off however top speed remains the same. You must modify the air intake and recalibrate your carburetor in order to have a well balanced, stronger performance in both acceleration and top speed. I used to own and was a Phantom fanatic!!

probably need to increase ur jet sizes since the exhaust will make it run leaner. alot of trial n error. went thru that process wen i fixed open pod filter. not worth the headache esp if u use d bike everyday. everyday strip carb not fun lor.

usually these bike come stock from factory abit lean. dats y very hot. wif d holes u make it even leaner. wen i dropped the pod filter idea, i oso ran d filter wif holes like you. so i increase the main jet size and shim my needle. basically increasing the amount of fuel to compensate for the extra air coming in.

it will feel much better. throttle more responsive and probably better for the engine running high RPMs for long distance. however, FC will suffer. i was getting ard 33km/l before. after tuning, around 30-31km/l. so its a tradeoff. wen touring maintaining at 120-130kph, i was getting 27km/l. :faint:

Wow your bikes can maintain at 120-130 km/h eh. Mine the engine struggling at 100 km/h already. Haha

nt advisable to maintain high speed too long oso. i tink max i will go is 1 hour, then must stop at least awhile to let it cool down. i forgot to mention mine i change sprocket size, so probably helps abit. struggle at 100km/h like not right eh. maybe u tink the bike struggling? but in actual fact the engine relaxed and want more speed! HAHA!

Guys just wondering, anyway to up the power of the front light without making it an illegal mod? Cause was riding along Old CCK Road when some portions were blacked out. I can hardly see the front even with high beam on. Cant see more than 10m. Any suggestion?

One way is u can try change ur bulb. I was surprised how much brighter a new bulb is compared to an old worn out bulb. Another way could be run d headlight from a relay direct from d battery. This way it gets maximum power and not limited by the old thinner wiring.

But running the light at maximum power, would i risk burning the bulb faster and melting the socket or something? Quite a common issue when i was on SP that time.

Shouldnt because the lightbulb will only take in hw much power it requires. Now the problem is ur wiring might be the bottleneck. Dats y newer bikes all got their own circuit n relay. So current surges due to other parts wont cause damage to other parts.
