Hi guys, has anyone installed an off market straight pipe exhaust before? I intend to installed on my knight hence appreciate your input / feedback on the pros and cons. Thanks

Any pipe straight-through doesn't offer you any speed increase at all. It's only psychological that you feel it.

Spend money on better stuffs.

or u can try change to open-pod air filter. sounds more throaty n shiok wen u drag the engine, but low-end not there. probably need to tune the carb and change the jetting. havent gotten the time to get the parts n play around wif the carb, so i revert back to stock airbox + filter.

Do a search on the net and read up. Basically u attach a filter directly to the carburetor. U will hv lesser power in the low rpm range but more in the upper rpm range. Nd alot of trial-n-error tuning. Nt sure if our carb i tunable to such an extent.

does the front fender of the daelim daystar fit between the phantom's forks? is it just a matter of filling the holes and drilling new ones? i like the daystar's long tail style compared with the phantom's plain fenders and if the fit is correct it is a quick(and cheaper) solution than making new fibreglass ones from scratch!!

Do we need to inform LTA to update the log card if the bike is painted a different colour? say yellow instead of the original silver stated in the log card?

to be on the safe side, jux do it lar. it jux takes a few minutes to do on Onemotoring. they will then send a confirmation letter to u a few days after. this is to avoid any issues in case TP or LTA stop you n u kena sum follow-the-book kind of personnel.
