    • YES, you racer-wannabe! Go get yourself a 600cc first!
    • NO, nothing wrong what...
    • I DON'T KNOW, what is track?

Well the answer to your question lies in the backdrop of your signature.

And don't be disheartened, these guys are ASEAN Superstars category. That's why they are freaking fast.

The bikes are not overly modified. The rules for the race including bike specs are posted on the site. Exhaust is free but they can't change the carby or jetting. The bikes body work can be stripped but there is a mim weight limit as many of the bikes will be lightened considerably. Pegs can be changed. Engine timing and ports can't be mod'd.

Any idea how much to fix higher pegs for the CBR150?

so basically, besides the exhaust, no other mods that affect the power and speed of the bike is allowed?... even so... damn.. their timing is fast... goes to show dat u dun need a fully modified bike to be jus as fast... m i rite??

I think pegs can be bought from LAB or Regina for anywhere between $80-150 depending on the type. Normally they have 2-3 options for bikes (sonic etc).

Good to just work on your riding first and then once you're really getting the max out of your bike then upgrade bits n pieces when you can really appreciate the difference.

Fitted a box to my CBR150. Darn ugly now :p

nah, won't take it to PG again now that I've got now spare daily rider (sold my sonic).

yep, it's possible to get a battery powered one or simply use a removable bracket (bicycle) to clip it on and off and some quick connect wiring.

When I rode mine at the track the ERP unit was in place. Darn annoying before but since then I've relocated it and it's not so bad.

If kept under the seat sometime the unit won't read when you go through the gantry which can be costly.

Just collected my prili. Engine is good but requires 2000km of running in. That will take me forever as I seldom ride it. :(

Apart from that the rear shock is now dead. :'(

Yeah, I think that is right. Msg Wacko from the Aprilia thread. He's the organizer. Don't wanna go on the weekend and have to deal with all the fast big bike riders blasting past us.

I went PG this morning, I saw a Rapsol team sponsored by Boon Siew Honda M'sia training over there, thay using CBR 150 and wave.

Found that their bike is instock condition and thay are allow to change exaust pipe only. The Cbr 150 sound very loud, too bad today weather no good (raining) cannot see their training. What I found is no doubt their bike is small but thay can manage their bike well in the track and race smoothly thru out all the corners.

Small bike also can go PG as long as the Rider got skill. Ha Ha.

This team will carry their long term trainig at PG.

after yesterday session where i witness a motard race against the >400cc bikes ie R1, etc.......... small bike big bikes really no difference.

u know what the motard is doing...............under 2 mins consistently. and to think their engine is so small and only 1 cylinder :)

the winner was an R1 who time is 1.42 sec per round. think the motard was doing 1.52 sec.
