Oh yea, may i ask, what the tire pressure u guys pump? I'm using M5, my back is 190 and i quite plumb haha

wah u all pump so high ah...i pump 30 32 leh....33 37 still can play corner ma? if still can den i pump more next time at least more air den fuel consumption not so high

FUFU 2 days ago did u ride on TpE? about 1am like that. cos i saw a red,white r1 like yours pass by me. i was in the middle lane with a busa haha

wow u all use so low one ah.. lacer sia 30/32 & 33/37... well depends on ur riding preference.. i did 41/38 all the way til recently decided to change to 39/37. it really depends on the feeling u get from the psi.. so test and trial to see which setting suits ur riding.. dun follow wat others recommend.. go feel it urself.

those are call carbon fibre frame guards that protect the side chasis ...

 

or the metal part that is between your fuel tank and the side fairings ....

well its quite useful in a way besides protection from scratches and falls, it will protect your knee or leg from being scalded by the chasis when your bike temp runs high .... additional advantage is that it also makes your bike more bling bling as it gives u a carbon fibre look

 

but then it has a disadvantage which is that your bike will not be able to disperse heat easily and may occur heat issues especially when u are riding in the hot sun from 12pm till 3pm

for heat issues it will only happen when u are riding ... nothing to do with when the engine is not on ...

 

but a few things u need to take note when u are having carbon fibre looks or accessories on your bike (exhaust included)

 

1) avoiding using solutions or chemicals to clean those carbon fibre parts as over time, will cause it to fade off.

2) try your very best to park in shades/shelter or at least use a canvas to cover the bike to prevent fade off also

3) wash and clean them with only tap water

 

your carbon fibre parts or accessories will then be able to last u a long time

Btw i just notice my tank hit 199km then reserve, are u guys like that too? i open twice to 180 other then that normal... reserve how many km can go ar haha

try to use higher gears for travelling around ... eg 6th gear at 80 or 90km/h will not hurt your engine at all.

 

199km is a bit too much liao. Also for fuel injection models try not to use until your petrol dries up as there is a danger of spoiling the injectors
