rear 160 is quite a common size.. michelin, dunlop, metzeler, bridgestone, pirelli..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Hi guys,

I was also actually wanting to settle for BT003 RS. Want to llok at the reviews be4 getting one.

Any one using this tyre?

Ive been using the 003s for abt 3 weeks now..I'm riding a GSR400 btw...so far i've been very happy, infact very satisfied with the tyres...

dry roads, whole bloody loads of grip on both front and rear...i was able to lean lower than i previously could....a confidence inducing tyre i mite say...straights are also very grippy..i think for a class 2 bike, you'll easily find urself riding on the rear wheel only with the amt of grip coming from the rear tyre..i think mine is the 3LC(dual compound)..but there is a 5LC(triple compound) version also available but only certain sizes not sure which...

in the wets, i'd say its abt moderate, with still a fair amt of grip...but do watch out, even though the letters RS means Racing Street, it is still very much a track focused tyre. The threads are widely spaced but not as far apart as the RACETECS and not so tiny as the Power One. So try not to do anything funny on then in the wets..also please do be extra careful when approaching road markings and lines in the wet..i was able to feel a slight slip while making a right turn at 40km/h when the tyre hit the one of the lines of the yellow box...

other than that, I'd say the BT-003 is a great tyre. However, this review is only up to my personal opinions. The tyre might work great for my riding style but might not work well for the riding style of others. Do take great care when choosing ur tyres..If unsure, do ask ur mechanic at the workshop u normally frequent. As a regular customer, they would work out the best tyre for ur riding style...

Hi guys. im not sure about 2A Bike Tyres as i jus bought CBR 400. I Just wondering what tyre is good for both wet and dry roads. Hmm.. i'm a fan of Batlax. Wanna try out other tyres in the future if my tyres are worn out.. Recommened Tyre Size for Front and Rear? Thks. pl advise. :)

Battlax is very good when they are warm up in my opinion..very very good.. i vouch for it..currently i switched to pirelli diablo at unique for $370 (am on a budget) for cls 2 bike..so far its great for both wet n warm rd.. felt guided when going thru some tight turns..but of course i never actually blast n corner on a wet rd, just that it doesnt feel the slip as i would on a dunlop qualifier previously i was using..if ur going back to battlax, get the bt-016..thats my best recommendation for battlax and personal fav...:thumb:

ur rear tyre profile would be slightly pointy as the extra width of the 190 tyre can only fit into a 180 rim width, hence cornering is good, but high speed stability is no good

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

i would think that the 190 is better for heavier bikes like those touring bikes.... personally i havent tried 190/55 before... i would wnana try soon.... soon...

Hello all bros,

Thnking of changing tyres for my twister 250cc. From what i read from the earlier postings in this thread, i've narrowed down to these 3 choices (I'm a fan of the michelin man):

1) Pilot Power

2) Pilot Sport

3) Pilot Road 2

My riding style is normal for day-to-day use, rain or shine, fair bit of cornering, no track usage.

Any advice for me? Are the above tyres profile be able to fit into my bike?

Thanks!!
