Hi Guys. Really appreciate for the time giving me opinion. I can already take my Class 2. But hesitating due to some point. Hope you guys can help. Thanks :)

What i really wan to know is

1. Can gadge me how much i have to spend on either Drz or Class 2.

2. Which will you prefer?

3. The reason why you chose it.

4. If you have experience on both, please do kindly share with me as in am really confused which to buy due to so many people washed my brain on getting either 1 of them.

Get your class 2 first. I was torn between getting a 2A bike or getting a 2 at one point of time, but I decided to get CL2 and after getting it, I am still riding my 2B bike. You will have a lot more choice of bikes once you have gotten your CL2, and in the mean time, you can take your time to choose your dream bike. If you're good, at most you will spend about $160-ish for CL2.

It really depends on what you want to do with the bike. If I were you, I would still take my class 2, and get the DRZ.

Personally I prefer mid-sized thumpers that do not require intensive maintenance, which rules out Huskys and KTMs. And there are tons and tons of aftermarket upgrades available for the DRZ. It's kinda like a mattel for riders.

Handling wise, nothing quite beats a lightweight thumper in traffic. Sure a class 2 bike is much faster, but I do not need a 150hp monster.

Bikes are a very personal thing. What works for me may be unbearable to you. I like to ride my slow XR250 and Dominator much more than my sports bike.

Whatever tickles you mate.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

let me share my 2 cents wif u bro..

drz :

-better fc, im getting like 27 - 29km/litre. better den s4/gsr4.

-cheaper maintenance, 2 bottles of eo, 1 plug. wear and tear stuffs such as tires, sproc & chain, brakepads definitely cheaper compared to class 2.

-vibrates coz its a thumper.

-alot of accessories to dry u. (me myself overspent as a student)

class 2:

-depends on wad bikes ur into bro.. sportsbikes? naked bikes? scrams? inline 4s? v twins, v4s? thumper?

-im guessing u will buy an inline 4 since its more common, u'll get higher speed, better cruising comfort (nt vibrator like drz), prestige? i duno, depends on how u see it.

i personally own a drz and a ninja 636. hope my info helps!

weigh ur pros and cons, decide, buy and enjoy the ride! cheers*
