Yo happy riding with your new beaST... try to control the beaST don't let him control u.....

a few points for u to take note.....

1) when doing u-turn use half-clutch

2) try to brake early, our beaST have longer stopping dis.

3) our beaST tend to go wide while turning

4) take note so ur speed... too comfort to ride till speeding...

5) change gear around 2k rpm this will help ur in fuel consumption

sori i cant understand.the english 2 chim 4 me.wat is fine print?n wat u mean by left bulb's tungsten got oxidated.can explain in a simple way?

haha.... well... the printing on bulb's box indicate it has the brightness of 100w/90w... but check the specification carefully, the bulbs is actually drawing only 60w/55w. (This is just marketing gimmicks.)

For stock ST11, when switch on the low beam, only left headlight will on. So the left side bulbs usually will oxidated faster since we use low beam in most of the time.

The tungsten for the low beam at right ride is never use (stock condition), so, you can swap the bulbs if you found the left side bulb is getting darker.....

no lah.i just got 1 pair of white bulb at hm nv use 1.so thking of change lor.but since u all say no gd 4 the batt.then i thk i beta used 2 orginal bulb.thks every1.all of u r so helpful.:cheer:

I did some tried on the so call "white bulb" before, but I still stick to the yellow H4 bulbs....

... there are some reason behind, one of reason is our eye is more sensitive to yellow light (when dark) rather then "white".....

wat u mean by -->it can swap if either one is oxidated to save money.

i dnt understand.

'Orgineral' P.E. ST1100 has only 1 side headlight on only, so as to say the other side is not use at all unless on high beam. so the unused side head light is still consider fresh & healthy, that's y both can exchange position to save $$.

white 'Xenom' light looks fierce but C.M.I.(cannot make it) if u r frequent NSHW user at nite, ESPECIALLY RAINING NITES. normal H4 solves all visual plms.

Try to Familise with the weight first....

as u said... while riding... weight no issue liao...

but play with Clutch while doing U-Turn especially in a carpark...

Many pick up AngBao during the 1st few attempt when not careful...

Parking .... look out for loose objects (dried leave, plastic bag , sands...etc)

they are 1 of the most dangerous items that causing topple...

Good Luck with your beaST... meet up at LC and some will do "BlowJob"

for u.....

1)izzit i got prob or my meter got prob?i ride at expressway.going at normal speed.then i see my meter 120km.i dnt even feel tat i am going at 120km. is normal for ST as I told u, our ST is too comfort to ride till u ride over the speed limit... at 5th gear 3k rpm speed is abt 100km/h

2)how come when doing sharp turn my hands must used alot of strength?but when handle straignt n normal ture no need used strenght. Think this is due to the weight of our beaST, sharp turn more pressure on the front wheel so need more sttrength to control it.

3)izzit normal tat the low beam shine veri far?cos i already turn 2 the lowest. yup it is, that's why most bikes don't like to travel infront of us... correct me if I'm wrong

4)n when idle how much is ur rpm? spec is 1000 plus minus 100 rpm. mine is around 800~900 rpm when the engine is hot.

Hey guys .... i'm using a Yuasa battery for my ST ... any idea how long is the life span

hi yem_paul,

basically it will last up to a life span of 4 yrs if it's well taken care of, meaning no unneccessary overloading from it.

replace it when it's terminal is corroded or sulphated. once sulphates grown on it, it wont retain charging, corrosion normally is caused by unneccessary loading.
