Long term test review of scott oily: One month.... give or take

So far it has never given any problems.... till today that is. Noticed that the oily was not oiling the chain much so decided to investigate...

http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs470.snc3/25789_10150134468855113_874490112_11699509_850436_n.jpg

Scott oily end somehow got hyper extended and the tip hit the chain.... causing destruction of the jointer head.

Ah here was the problem... the wire got pulled out.

http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs450.snc3/25789_10150134468880113_874490112_11699511_2828678_n.jpg

Cut away and good to go.... although its crude.

The wire probably got shaken loose and the tip touched the chain and got caught in the rollers... hence the wire got pulled out..

Lucky it was only pulled out abit, easily rectified by cutting away the excess wire, oily works like normal now.

Better take care, imagine the consequence if the whole strand of wire got stuck and drag into the rollers when moving, your rear wheel might get locked up.
