Hi all, I went to have my radiator coolant flushed. The water that came out was brown, murky and has a metallic smell. I was told that the 'pump' in my coolant system is not working, resulting in the water becoming like that. Anyone had any similar experiences?

hmn..happens to me once on my previous bike..its due to prvious owner never put coolant..he just pour water in only...water causes corrosion..the brown water is water mixed with rust..

yo ah pek... hmm i still have this problem... when i start i got the tic tak ti tak sound when i press the switch.. then cannot start..i tried tighten the screw at the batt and monitor a while but still have.. i push start everyday.. thinking was batt too weak.. straight after exam i went to buy a new batt and fix... but still have the tic tak sound... trace it to be coming out from a boxlike connection with a 30 fuse connected right after the red wire from the battery... the fuse is alright.. wonder if you could help... got a feeling is connection problem but dunno where.. haha dunno is it starter motor also...

now i want to make this version S as new as possible....very old bike liao...so want to fix every possible part which may fail me in the future.to me braking is very impt as its gonna save my life..

 

i had very bad experience with my previous bike with its coolant system...here leak there leak ...here burst there burst...so installing silicon hose..shld be goood option??

Investing in steel brake hose is fine but not silicon hose (IMHO)..go figure.

The one for fuel mix is different..about $18 to $22. I used it before but its not as good as green oil...IMHO. Green oil provides lubrication and cleans cyclinder when used. I oso tried the X-1R made in USA but repacked in Malaysia..its not as good as green oil or ST200R which is much cheaper and effective.

 

If you really want to "liquid engineer" your bike engine combustion chamber section..go get "Liquid Molly" valve cleaner..after two tank premixed..the power response of the bike is spontaneous..after that use green oil to maintain...freaking smooth and bikes start every time even in the cold morning.

 

Please note that what I said here is base on personal used and others that had shared their same opinion...others may varied but yet to hear that its not good...this is X-1R eo mixes I'm talking about.

 

The X-1R I'm helping provide is for eo and at $38 compare to shelf value at $49.

Ic...well I am not sure either. But this comes as a set. one bottle for petrol and the other for EO..i think..cant be sure till i get it. Will update in any case.

Hello all, I am hoping to get some advice on what may be wrong with my bike.

 

I recently got myself a Ver S (1 week back) and I am having some coolant leakage from the left side (when you're sitting on the bike) of the engine. There is a small screw hole I think, and I see coolant leaking out from that spot.

 

Does this have something to do with my head gasket, or is there someplace else I should check?

That hole is not a screw hole. If coolant is leaking from that hole, it's not your head gasket already. It's your engine block.. The most serious problem affecting Ver S users. You didn't check the bike before buying it over? Any warranty offered by the shop, or was it from a private seller?
