Hey guys, i just realized my rear brake isn't biting well. I notice that that's like no braking power even to the extend that when i stop on the carpark slopes, i actually roll back even when i applied the rear brake. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance!

Check your hydraulic reservoir (the round semi transparent cyclinder with a black cap) level..you may be out of DOT2 hydraulic fluid caused by lead somewhere.

The other possibility is your that brake pad has worn so badly till there is nothing much of it to bite your brake disc..but unlikely. I would rule out someone squirt some oil on the brake disc or pad as a 'joke'...LOL!

Ok..this is VERY POSSIBLE..your back brake pump gone liao. Change pump kit or whole unit. Check for fluid leak around the pump area.

Not sure if your logo label badge is glued type or embossed..at any rate, you have to choose between the 'beauty' of damge or no logo...LOL! Small matter lah...live with it, as long as bike can overtake R6 ok liao mah

The brakes seem to work well the day after i realised it wasn't biting. Anyway, i just topped up the brake fluid cos it seemed a little low. And it seems to improve braking response. Hopefully that'll be the end of my ordeal!

Have to monitor for a few weeks like once a week. You never know the pump seal is leaking out fluid mildly.

Guys...of late I have been testing a product that actually coat the internal engine compartment like gear box, cylinder wall and piston that has naturally been worn due to long run bike usage. Its not commercially available for bike yet but will be someday.

It have drastically improved my fc (not stating any figures here, prefer user speak for themselves), and perform much like X-1R (for those who have tried it). The only concern was clutch slipping but so far, holding at 13k rpm at maxs 180-190 km/hr has proven ok. Of course it does more than just this..

Its a eo premixed and what it does is much like stripping an engine and have the the various vital components like piston, cylinder wall and gears coated (thermal and ceramic) manually for race purposes. It coating is in micro layers.

Its not a cheap ($48 for 120ml to last you 30,000 km as a one time treatmant) product but after so many tinkling with liquid engineering improvement stuff, this is by far the very best I come across..yah..latest techno product used by NASA.

Just sharing...but if any of you are adventurous enough and serious to try, pm me.

No problem..just add it on...but at least 1000 km more before next eo change. Each time you stop, the layers form in micro layers and bond to the metal surface when it cools down. You do feel you getting back compression as if the bike is newer and smooth. X-1R becomes a compliment to it.

If this is after using X-1R..its nothing surprising. If you use the other one together we talk about in previous post above, you can say it's surprising..kekeke!

What are the ill-effects of using 2T oil for the forks instead of Fork Oil?

Same lah..no ill effect, just that you pay lower price for the 2T oil and its viscosity is not as reliable as fork oil..thus require much earlier replacement.

haha. really no luck fr him lol.

Talking about tank bra..there was a tank bra theft last few days ago at the MCP at AMK Hub. Discussion is if I'm not wrong at S4Vtec forum. The thief did not get away with it because the bra was hard to take off. Bike panties anyone?

There are no problem with any S4 type of version. The problem is with that particular bike you are buying. So far..most people I know..they seem to end up buying 2nd S4 with a problems. You do not know the bike as its new to you but the mototiam knows. Its their practice that you buy first, get your money first and got problem than talk later. Even if you comes back to them, its a "okay now" and if not.."its like that one". I have come across too much of this already. $3.2 k is a lot of money..prepare to spend more if you are not careful. Better to spend more on a really good condition one..get experience friend to help you look for one. The bike shop seller can out talk you anytime. Don't put on a baby face..but a "don't believe him" look when you talk to this people. BP is pretty honest with their sales..at least they do up the bike.

Good luck.
