Ah pek that time remember i say my fork and suspension gone le.. Today went to bike shop ASPhoon and they replaced a used suspension for me and top up fork oil.. Wow didn't know these 2 really make a difference in performance.. Now acceleration is better cos suspension not too soft le and also cornering much more confidence.. haha..

 

Now is to change plug + EO + do a coolent flush.. Btw ah pek, OWS their engine protector good? Cos i was thinking of going to unique to do their full package..

 

I can't commend about others product here but I strongly recommend you try my blend with X-1R and others (different level of performance). For spark plug..you get yourself and I get install for you at the same time. Anyway..by appointment only. You won't regret! Asked the others here.

btw guys how much can ur s4 clock with full tank?

mine only 280km while my friend can clock 380km.all before reserve.

we both ride 100km/hr at expressway.and dont wack.

 

does mine suck more fuel due to the block head crack and etc.

Block head crack?..can explain?..280km with block head cracked is very good wat!..some no crack oso at 260 km.

dunnow shop say my block head crack.so everytime i top up coolant into radiator.the water will come out from the 2 hole at the side of the block...

I just brought Version S from this forum (2500, left 4 yrs COE, cant extend) last a few month. After i brought I did this things....

 

- both front fork leakage after 3 weeks ride ( seller said good condition)

- change headlight + 4 signal 2nd orginal ( coz RXZ head)

- front + rear bearing

- change 2nd V S suspension, cost 250 + service 200 at Unique coz leakage after 2 weeks

( come wt Gazi, I really dun know that is not original as my poor knowledge )

- changed Honda chain

- coolent ( no coolent in reserve tank )

- throttle cable ( coz not smooth )

- choke cable ( coz jam )

- carburetor servicing & change needle

- seat ( inside full water )

- both tyre , bridgestone 090, 270 ( 2 Apr )

- Engine Head ( dun know cost , at shop )

 

ha ha ... wt this total cost, I can buy spec 2... .. FC 22km/l

u can change at planet motor the coolent pump plus labour plus coolant for 135 bucks there...u can change it yourself after u see how they do..its not tt difficult as long u got the right tools.cheers...

Hey Ah pek, i went to changed my EO cos it's really affecting my gear changing.. The sound really scary..

 

But today went to unique to do servicing..

 

Service my carb + needle change + 4x rubber from carb to exhaust and also change to K&N air filter.. That alone already cost me like $250.. Hai~~~ painfule.

 

But after oil change + plug change and all servicing, it really makes a lot of difference to my normal riding.. Can feel more power..

 

Btw ah pek, my throttle super super hard (i mean when turning the throttle), is there any DIY method to not have to much tension?

Next time do your washing and servcing carbs without taking out your carbs..$15.00 only.

Hey Ah pek, i went to changed my EO cos it's really affecting my gear changing.. The sound really scary..

 

But today went to unique to do servicing..

 

Service my carb + needle change + 4x rubber from carb to exhaust and also change to K&N air filter.. That alone already cost me like $250.. Hai~~~ painfule.

 

But after oil change + plug change and all servicing, it really makes a lot of difference to my normal riding.. Can feel more power..

 

Btw ah pek, my throttle super super hard (i mean when turning the throttle), is there any DIY method to not have to much tension?

 

The throttle cables may be faulty and likelt to snap anytime soon. Have it change..cost about $60 a pair..including workmanship is about total $68..someone just did at that price.
