No woories about that..just top up with new coolant that is premixed and can be gotten from most kiosk. Careful of imitation branded ones..just still to petrol kisok one you are safe. Change and rinse only when it changes colour badly..can be 2 to 3 yrs.

You want really GOOD coolant, I have my own Cee_pei_hoe blend oso..muwah_hahaha!

Thanks for the previous advice ah pek! :cheeky: will definitely try out the option to clean the coolant and refill it with decent coolant mixed with distilled water mixed with some sealant..

The leaking became more severe recently after i top up the front part of the coolant fully. Prior to this its not leaking, or not enough for me to notice (suspect there is low level in the front coolant reservoir) thus not much leak..

If the above is the case does it mean that hopefully after sealant it would be good as an temp solution since the engine is not leaking and the coolant is still being supplied to the engine itself?

Can i join in on thursday evening too? Would love to drop by after work and seek ur advice! :thumb: :cheer:

It better that you quickly get it done before the crack get worst. You can come tomorrow (Wendesday) evening if you want.

Its a 'gamble' you gotta take otherwise, have the block replace which again does not guarantee it won't cracked in future oso especially used second hand block. The 1st move has to be done first and that's rinsing the coolant system and clear of any rust etc..and refilled with fresh good coolant with mixtured of the sealant.

If it does not leak anymore, still have to monitor if the sysytem is working normal without overheating. If it still is, its either the thermostat or water pump or both but unlikely.

So far this have work well for a few ppl already.

Have you gotten your LEDs yet? Do not use back the same incandescent light bulbs. its hot and consume current much more then LEDs. PM me if you want me to do it.:sian:

thanks for the warm welcome everyone! the ride is absolutely fabulous!! there were VTEC I, II and III at the time I was at the shop but decided to go for the Ver S. Now looking back, I know I made the best choice I could ever make in the past decade I've been riding. Just came back from a little night riding with my gf... hahaha... that's how much we're loving it. And of cos, we ride safe. Looking forward to meeting you guys one day for a friendly kopi session if time permits ( I work weekends too, so might be quite diff lah)! If anyone wants to go on a petrol refill in JB (usually 10pm onwards, I'm usually quite on), let me know k (that's more do-able for me). Ride safe everyone!

Cheers,

HiLMi
