nvrm ill continue to monitor my consumption in the next few tanks.

btw ahpek, u polished ur headers using meguire wax? where to get it arh? n how much?

Yes..the brand is Megauire..its not a wax, its a metal polish and not like brasso which can create swirl marks. Soft and good.

Gearone is right about the price but NTUC normally sells at $16..but if you hurry now, its having sales at only $11+.

Here is a just after polished image of my exhaust to inspire you...heee.x3!

hmmm... ur version seems more logical in the case of my bike.

now that explains why i my bike can rev all the way into 14-15rpm zones. :cheeky::cheeky:

its normal for the bike to rev up to 14-15rpm on the lower gears right? only when in 6th gear thats when the powercut comes in right? limited to 180-190kmh at 16-17rpm?

imagine the S4 without the power cut..sure even more shiok...haha

i really envy ah peks and PB1 header...thought of doing the same thing on my ver s but ver s header not like PB1..even after polish nice2 after a while will become yellow again..so i save the trouble and leave it...maybe just paint it black again.....

It aint me officer...The bike is POSSESSED!!

black... two piece right? can elaborate more how it works?

black... two piece right? can elaborate more how it works?

Wah_lau..you were explain to you liao..now you want me to type all over..sian leh. Anyway..sharp and short..it does help in making the spark plug cable (ingnition coil cables) impermeable to radio frequency interference. Somewhat it aids the current magnetic fluxs in the cables from being affected by other source of induction. How well it works I really can't say but smoothness is felt to some extend. Call it "EMI Shielding Solutions".

Two piece per cable so x4 cable is 8 so 8x$8 is $64...LOL!..at elast not $30 a piece lah.

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,

This post would be with regards to Ah Pek's, X-1R. (Fuel Additives and Lubricants)

image.php?type=D&id=21

In short, X-1R is added and blended with the Engine Oil, to increase engine life, prevent wear/tear & best of all, increase overall performance.

I had the EO & X-1R on the 20th December 2009 (Sunday).

What did I feel at first?

Initially there was not much difference except the engine was very eager to rev and climbs the rev faster than normal.

(Due to the fact that after everytime you change new EO, the ride becomes more smooth)

I was skeptical about it at first but Ah Pek & hanxx's guidance were that, the engine oil + X-1R need to run in first before you really can feel the difference, before & after.

What did I feel thereafter "running in" the EO?

First thing first, I'd like to comment that the ride is definitely VERY DIFFERENT before I had the oil inside.

I'm not exaggerating that it feels as though the whole engine is new or just had a top overhaul service, maybe due to the fact that I had nano technology oil too. (Achieves back the compression and protects the engine block's sides back as though it's new)

What are the few pointers?

1. The engine feels "alive", as though its breathing normally now, it's like I can feel the "Intake", "Compression", "Power" & "Exhaust" cycles.

Previously it was like having a flu when accelerating. As though it wants to and not to accelerate at times.

2. The engine is very eager to rev & climbs rev much faster than before. The higher you rev, the smoother the ride is.

The engine goes onto the high rev zone (redline) easily than before.

Previously, before i hit into the red zone. It'd be like 1 hour already & decisive & unsmooth as though something is stuck in the carburetor.

Even though the same angle of throttle is turned as before, the engine climbs up rev much faster.

3. The engine gives much more low end and mid range torque as compared to before.

It's not like the same old ride I had before when I felt that a 400cc is like a 200cc bike.

4. The gear changes is very precise & delicate as though I just changed my clutch plate. Since the clutch plates are emerged into the newly EO.

Previously it was very indecisive in changing gears.

The above are my solely truthful statements about X-1R.

Thank you Ah Pek for bringing this wonderful oil into our shores and making my ride like a never one without this.

Thank you Ah Pek for sharing your deep insights and knowledge about our bikes/lives/values.

Thank you for the interesting conversations and jokes we shared together.

555+

So don't wait anymore. Get a bottle of X-1R from Ah Pek now, to make your 400CC bike feels as though its a 600CC bike today.

hmm just encountered a problem with my verS

just now at traffic light hand was itchy2 so started to play around with the control and just realized that my on/off switch is really sensitive.

dont even need to click it to off to turn my engine off. a gentle stroke/push of the on switch and my bike engine die off ohleady...

any one encounter the same problem?

its not really a major problem but what can be done to at least make it less sensitive or easy to say need to really press on the off switch to turn off my engine. something minor if not remedied early i scared become something major:cry:

Hi Ah Pek, good to finally meet you this morning. We really had long session of just an engine oil change, hahaha. Lots of Q&A and advices going on. The bike is now really really a pleasure to ride and because of today, i purposely sent my bike for full grooming to wash and polish just to make it look brand new. Im gonna heed your advice to get the metal polish...i forgot to drop by NTUC just now all because of the bike la. Couldnt wait to whack a bit. I reach my destination then i realise what i forgot to buy.

Looking forward to the next service which should be the grounding and the coolant. I guess i need your help in clearing the rust inside. Thanks again!

hi gearone, i had the exact same problem. ah pek advised me to try opening up the switch unit & spray some electrical contact cleaner to remedy it.

but i was itchy hand so i went to buy a new honda original part for $80+. btw it's not made in japan like some of the other honda parts; it's been outsourced to china alr. good thing though is that the new one simply looks so....new.

anyway do give the contact cleaner method a try 1st, or you can go scrapyard to look for another one.

With all due respect, it is my promise to you to come out with a review with regards to X-1R provided it delivers as what you have promised, and no doubts it did of course.

So you're welcome for the review. Pray that more sbf mates will get the X-1R from you so as not to miss out such a wonderful product for their ride.

I speak nothing but only the truth, like you said if it doesn't deliver. It's a free change of any EO rights. That's a promise. 5555 +
