hi all... juz wanna noe wats the most recommended aftermarket brake hose coz will b changing mine soon... any1 has tried or using any of the popular brands at the moment? tanx in advance....

Got lo-bang for 2nd fork brace used by Ver S..non sure can fit PB1..but should be,

i'm selling my carbon fibre fork brace.

 

with a Yoshimura in Jap Letters engraved in the middle of the brace.

 

it's still usable just that the alley nuts for the brace are rusty, that's all.

Oh, sorry...in this case no need lah...tot u got Nano. Just keep the remaining 2 ozs. You need 4 ozs the next time when u wanna use Nano..can always get additional 2 ozs..need not get the whole bottle again. Anyway..since you been riding normally as ur usual self, was there any increase in FC for you just using X-1R beside performance improvement?

haven't logged on since last Saturday morning when i went over to your place for eo change..and top up of tire pressure according to your reccomendation..

 

just to update you, right after that i pumped a full tank and it gave me additional 2kms/ltr..hehe..how much is cos of eo and how much is cos of tire pressure, i dont know lah..haha..will continue to monitor and update here..

 

anyway, i did go down to the bike shop as you suggested to ask them about my middle block and possible leak, and wat they could do about it..the mech went to my bike after hearing my prob, started it and held it at high rev for awhile, while looking at the leak site..after few seconds, he let go and said " WAH Siao Liao Siao Liao!! your block leaking! " .. even though i didnt see anything coming out..he and his colleague then started to discuss my problem and they said my bike out of warranty liao, so no coverage by them, BUT since i got not long nia, they will "gentleman" and ask their boss to help me absorb some of the costs..so, if i wana recon my current block, slightly over 1k..if i wan new block (just the block, everything else use back) will be 2k..

 

luckily there were no customers then..if not i would have been so tempted to make a big fuss about how they said i could "fang yi bai ke xin" (put one hundred hearts=have no worry at all) regarding the engine cond and how it was "swee swee" and "one of the best they have seen in a long time" compared to the other units in their shop..but yet JUST after my warranty period, they say my block "Siao Liao!!" and i have to spend 1-2k to do up..and how the box they "generously" gave me leaks when in heavy rain and the rack doesnt even seem to fit properly and i have to have a sponge between it and my tail to prevent them contacting..

think i will go back and get giro form for my instalment cos i dont really feel like seeing them anymore..

 

thinking of how i felt they were siam-ing me when i went back last Sat afternoon makes me feel sick..

 

anyways, have fun on Kinabalu..i'm looking forward to my trip to phuket this april too..and hor, i want leh the chain lube!..mine finishing liao..

Wah...1k for secondhand block and 2k for new block. Secondhand block can do for $800+ thia..anyway..if you want, I got a block and can do under $800. But before you decide, can do a patch for under $100..so far been very successful.

...so 1st to 3rd gear all thru at redline 13k rpm..what speed did u achieved?...normally..140km/hr under 10s. Yours is a Vtec 1...might do better.
