ah pek i go hunt around , my lcd problem can be fixed but 80 bucks lol.....i give up the idea liao , use as it is, the mech say burnt liao.....cause by intense sunlight

 

where and which bike shop repair for $80 . my one like going to burnt also . riding spec II

ah pek.. im riding a version s.. everytime i ride.. about 15 mins to 20 mins. the temp light on the rpm meter will light up.. means very hot? but only ride for awhile? is it normal for the temp light to on...?

No...this is REALLY BAD! But again, could be wiring problem. However, this is very serious. Need to have your coolant system check. See if there is any coolant left in your coolant reserve top up tank?..its on your right side mid area just below your seat but you have to remove your bike saddle and open the side panel cover with a size 5 allen key (unless its not stock).

 

If the coolant level is okay at betwen the markers..have to have your thermostat or radiator fan cjeck..radiator sensor fan switch may not be working or coolant pump out of commission. These possibilities are there. Need help if you don't have a trust worthy mototiam, pm me.

There are only the following things I can think of...

 

1) Check your rims..it may be damaged and not sitting the tyre properly.

 

2) If there is no sudden air leak due to a puncture by cuts to the tyre..do check the main axle of your wheels if it had been properly tighten...and also if your wheel bearings are ok.

 

3) Never heard of the tyre brand..better see to it, may not be the right fit tubless type for S4.

Can't say much here..never been to UM before. As for bearings change, I think its $18 per set or so. Best to have Ah Fook look at your tyre and rim setup and get some free advise from him.

I realise i open my V-tec often at expressway and maintain at 7krpm my FC is better than riding at 90-100km/h at around 6 to 6.5krpm....

 

as I travel 80% expressway 20% normal road...

I expained to most of you before that riding speed (90/100km/hr) of such do not dictate FC. Fc is a very subjective matter and one too many factors are invovle. Your case is without a doubt due to "momentum" in roll much like I advise most people to change gears above 4.5k rpm for 1st gear and 2nd gear onwards.at 5.5 krpm at least. This rolls the bike better into momentum and does contribute into less drag for the bike from stand still (its 358 lbs of mass). Not that everytime you have to do this, depend on traffic situation and regulate with the flow of traffics and Uncle Sam (men in White) but do it when there is that opportunity.
