Need to adjust ur clutch cable..stretch liao. Do the following...

1) Left level..loosen the dial lock nut and screw them togather with the clutch guide screw in.

2) After doing this..u find the clutch level very loose.leave it like that.

3) Now follow the cable and follow it to ur right bottom assemblty of your clutch major adustment part. U see two nuts.

4) Loosen the upper nut (lock nut..size 14 or 12) and you find the whole assembly kind of loose. Push down a bit and the smaller size 12 nut can be move. Screw it downwards to the end of the screw stalk about an inch at least and pull the clutch cable upwards.

5) Now..screw lock the nut u loosen earlier and lock it to purpose.

5) Check your cluth level tension and play allowance and adjust for prefer biting point.

Amen.

thks ahpek, will give it a try =) got a few questions, pardon me for my noobness

as for step 1, dial lock nut refer to the one nearest to the lever? which is clutch guide?

step 4, wads a lock nut? can be opened with regular spanner?

one more thing about my fuel gauge, prev owner said he clock 380 before hitting reserve. but under my care i haven even touch 300 my needle ard at the resv red area liao, but i jus continue riding and realize i didnt even need to turn the fuel cock to resv... so wen is the real resv kicking in? wen the bar is totally flat?

Dial lock is the one that is like a round disc. Clutch guide is the loneg one with thread which the dial lock rides on. A lock nut or screw is just what it does..use for "locking" movement. Spanner or whatever..see and use something that you can use.

Ride till your bike start to be "jerky"...then switch to reserve. No fuel guage is ever accurate. Its a float switch inside the tank dancing around when the bikes moves.

Wiah it was business..can make $s!..but never charge so far especially using jump wire to start ppl bikes so they can ride home without calling tolw truck service that cost as much as $45 for after midnight services. Yah..gonna charge next time unless all S4 riders are willing to help each other by carrying a set of small DIY jumper wires.

Guys, wen i try to maintain speed i feel like my sprocket area got jerking.. But wen pick up speed dun feel it.. Is my chain loose or my front sprocket spoilt? My chain is oiled properly as im using scottoiler and d oil is still sufficient. How to determine if the slack is sufficient??

I don't think alot of them will do that... Mostly will only look for toilet when they're able to SHITTS.... Even charging them at $45 also not worth it, it can't buy back your disturb sleep...

Hi EveryOne..!!

I Got My Vs Abt a Mth back..

First.. Come First..

I have too many issues.. with it..

After riding for less den 15 min, my bike fan will go on with out me even revving it hard..

Is it normal.!?

Next Up, Sometimes When i ride and maintain speed at 100km/h, my bike automatically starts to push it faster.. Like as if i drop a gear or 2.. Whats Wrong..

Third, i need to service my carb i think.. Its starting to emit some funny noises and sometimes feels like something is stuck when i try to open throttle.. Why is it such..

Also, I've been following this thread recently..

There seems to be a doc for the bikes in this forum..

Dr. Ah Pek..

I was wondering If i cud catch up with you sometime soon.. Gimme a hunch of whats wrong with my bike so i can start estimating my expenses soon.. LOL..

LASTLY... Im looking for a tank bra for my Ver S..

Anyone hu has it.. Plz Plz Plz..

Contact me at 91497160..

Hi all,

Juz curious, has anyone ride with their version s or non-vtec bikes to KL b4?

Can share some tips on what to prepare beforehand(wad kind of bike service etc)

Tks!

Rode my version S around Malaysia three weeks ago. Things I did to prepare were:

-check tires, brakes, lights and chain to ensure all are working fine and replace if needed before the trip.

-check oil and coolant and change if needed.

-check plugs and battery.

-bring along tools for tire punctures or install a TPS.

-bring chain lube to lube up the chain if needed. I did not lube mine actually but think it's a good idea.

By the way, don't make any changes less than one week before you depart cos sometimes changes need tweaking and you wanna do that before you go. Though I gotta say going to KL and back isn't a very long journey, it will stress the bike more if you ride faster than usual. I rode mostly at 80-90kph so no stress as I steered clear of the NSHW most of the time.

I am sure other more experienced folks will chime in. These were just the things I did for my trip.

Enjoy your trip!
