Usually cost around $250 for a single color but with stripping and more colours..$350 or higher. This does not include rims. Pm me and I can recommend u someone.

When new is ok..bike feel very stable and tight at corners and bends. Disadvantage thru out the period is back heavy and bad FC. During tire s half life..front handling becomes 'understable' due to too much flat surface on back tyre centre contact on road...the fron't and the back just don't compliment each other as front tyre centre is roundish and back too flat due to tyre surface broadness...lots of "back drag"...been there with 150/60..can't imagine what 160 gonna do...:dot:...in short HIGHLY not recommended.

thx apek..shall get a 150/70 then...should be a better choice for the longer run..

If ur ride is a non Vtec...I recommend u use 140 for ur back..not 150.

okies...will go searching for that size...=)

If u can find Dunlope GT501 Arrow Max..take it rather than Bridgestone Batterlax. Should cost around $210-$230 for a pair. They are sport touring tyres and last a long while.

1) estimate cost of the replacement for both.sigh Not timing chain or cam chain..just the uneveness thickness of the shims. To replace a shim or two..labor cost is as good as doing a top head overhaul and can be very expensive bekuz beside shims..there are other components that may follow. If the sound goes away afetr hot up or sofen..no worries. $200+ to $300 depending on what's can be found badly worn..likevalve spring, spacer, cam follower..etc.

2) any danger 9Like piston jam? No jam lah.

3) any complicated problem that may arise? Never heard of such s far.

Thanks for all brudders advice. Really appreciate it.

Went to motor shop to check, but Mech say not problem leh (no sound).

Now I realised that there are some metal (clicking) sound coming out from my engine (+ tick tick sound) when i am riding in low speed (1st & 2nd gear),not sure whether faster speed got sound. Just now when I test my bike, I roll the bike in neutral gear, with engine off and the sound is still coming out from the engine.

But when I start the engine and rammed the bike in neutral gear, the engine sound ok leh (sound normal).

I am puzzled what is the problem?:(

Anyone encounter like this before.

Thanks

Hey guys, wanna ask u this. I just changed my tyres today from Duro 110/60-17 front 140/60-17 rear. To battlax BT023 which is 120/60-17 front 160/60-17 rear.

First ride feels v weird. The old tyres feels slippery on wet road n it feels "scared" on corners.

Now with new tyres entering my first bend it feels like the bike wanna go lower. Is this normal for so called "better" tyres?? Or is this weird feel is because of the upgrade in size??

The maximum size u can go on the front and rear is one size up.For your front is ok, but the rear is too big. Fix too big rear tyre, fuel consumption will go up as the tyre is heavier and worst case , the tyre rubbing your swingarm. BT23 is a good tyre but be gentle for the first few km and let the tyre warm up first. U will then feel the tyre is like glue to the road.

I agree, I'm using Arrowmax tyres on dry the grip is great, can corner siao.

On the wet it's still ok. I don't corner in the wet so I don't really know how good or bad it is. Honda chose this tyre as the stock tyres for a reason.

Why he recommend?...didn't u asked him? My advise?...stay with the original...I skipped the details..as there are other preferred options to make ur bike perform better without spending that much..less the looks of a Yoshi of course.
