My bike have been making some sort of knocking noise recently and feels jerking when on the move. Is it due to EO? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

My choke also not working, think it snap or not connected. Is it costly to repair both faults? :(

Not cheap and don't need. Leave it as it is...u need choke as seldom or even need to use. If u need to..just pull the carbs link just under ur tank above the carbs end on the right outest unit.

my idling also seem to be at a higher rpm recently, seems louder now :(

These post will answer all ur 3 posts questions...

1) Use 95..less subjective to knocking compare to 92.

2) Take off ur air filter and clean it. If u have access to air compressor gun...just give it a few blast from inside out...otherwise just tab with any heavy wooden object to create vibration to shack debris off.

3) Find the idling screw inbetween the two centre carbs..its a flower bolt type screw..turn anti-clockwise to lower the idling..remember u are looking at it upside down. Don't turn too much if it does not have any effects..but should..otherwise if the crew falls off..its a pain in the arse to put it back in place.

hi guys. am riding a PB1 registered 94. when i am riding, i found that without disengaging the clutch, i can change gears. i tried from 6 to 5 and from 2 to 1. needless to say, that i found out by chance! what can be wrong with the bike?

Posted

cheers bro.. thanks for the info! :)

No fixed rules about it but generically every two eo changes over 3k-5k in mileage. If use good EO that reduce wear and tear by 80%...3-6 eo change interval oso no swear especially having a magnetic oil filter. Not to forget ur riding style and usage has to be factor in.

Can but you have to mount a bracket first before you can install the main stand.

Nothing wrong...most bikes can do that. Practice more..u may need to do it when ur clutch cable one day snapped in the middle of nowhere ;0)
