so much to consider, like that sound like everyday depending on what u do or go, have to pump differently

"..have to pump differently"..nobody is telling you that..and so far nobody is complaining either.

It's hard to say as there may be more things that's neededto be replace and the kind of work invovled..but at least around $200+ onwards not exceeding $400.

Sorry..can't say who is good or bad. I heard good and bad of one and the same mototiam sometimes from diferent riders. There are quite a few advertiser here at SBF that has workshop and are experience with S4. Price likely would varies due to rental and quality works and mechanics. U can be on the chopping board too..best to scout and recce around for shops that do much honest busniess and have good mechanics...do asked aound and if u do get one to do..make sure they have "corrective trpair" in case work done is not proper.

went to Unique Motorsports (Tuas) last sat morning to fix my bearing issue. initially a Malay guy did a test n claimed that it's the bearings that allow ur handle bar turn that is spoilt which costs $105 but when the mechanic did his own checks, he realised it's just the bearing at the front wheel that needs to change n costs $58 only. came to realised that the Malay guy was not a mechanic, i believe some admin guy helping out n organizing things around. thumbs up for the mechanic who "found" the real problem.

i like the place, was more organised than other workshops that i used to go to. while waiting there, another guy came n distribute free mineral water. i know it's not expensive but it's a value added service. after a while, my bike was "fixed" but it's not what i expected. my bike's problem was just some handle bar too tight issue n although the mechanic changed the bearing, it improved a little. after riding for 2 days, i think problem still exist which i dun like. the handle feels tight n difficult to handle when slowing down so makes squeezing in between cars at traffic light difficult.

i might give planet a try. is it called Planet Motor Cycle Service Centre at 3007 Ubi Road 1 #01-430, 408701?

I'm constantly getting 19km/l on my PB1. Very seldom hits 20km/l. Tyre pressure always checked. I would say 50:50 ratio for city:highway riding. 3/4 of the time I have my gf as a pillion, weighs about 60kg, and I have a 52 litre kappa box. Throttle wise, I would say I'm a gentle rider. Only uses RPM at 5k max at most times, in 6th gear would be 90km/h at 5k RPM apart from the occasional down gear and overtaking.

Last carb servicing was a little over a year ago. Overhauled minimum once throughout its 16-year history, so I'm not sure about the piston size. Everything is standard, no mods at all.

19km/l is quite jia lat right? I believe most s4 are doing more than 21km/l. Please advise or share your thoughts.

Just got a problem with my s4. When I turned the ignition key on, not a single thing turned on (no headlight, no neutral light) Naturally I tried everything else like the ignition, no crank. Horn also nothing.

Battery is a little over a year old, Yuasa brand. I don't think the battery can be totally flat until nothing comes on right? I wanted to check the fuse and rectifier just now but I had to rush home. My gut feeling says it's the main fuse. Advises please.

Can you push start the bike? if no, means ignition spoilt. happened to me in november last year. rid to orchard, park 5 min, then cannot start.

replace ignition about $100 local set, if genuine honda will be more ex.
