I just top up my petrol of 15 litres after travelling for 390km. So average per litre is around 26 km. I wun complain much as for now.

Or try your luck at the garage sale here.

Look for 2nd hand ones, cheaper that way.

A new one will cost near to a hundred?

You can get 2nd hand ones around $20-30.

What we did is we resprayed the fairings.

DIY fixing, u need appropriate screws, nuts as well as brackets for it.

There are a wide range of fairings for u to choose from.

Most popular are the KTMs as well as Honda CRF.

So what was the total cost of the overhaul? Around 2K or more? My COE due in aug 08 and am planning to renew for another 10 years.... cos I cannot bear to leave my beloved version S.

 

my pimp is still @ e workshop.estimated cost told to me , by my mech is around

$3.5K.Tis incl a new engine block (maybe re-con one,I guess) in which hav to wait for shipment frm Japan cos Agent also no more stock.E freight will take 2weeks.E whole block will cost me around $1+K , replace crank shaft,piston set,con rod,shims,bearings,timing chain,EO.etc..Its jus like having a new lease of life...intestine removed n replaced wif a new one,plus kidney,lungs & heart.

there , but in terms of trustworthiness is there.No worries for me to leave my

pimp there unattended cos he will take care my pimp as if its his.

1)drain the engine oil

2)turn the filter anti-clockwise using the tool, then loosen further by hand

3)rub some oil on the new filter's rubber ring

4)screw back by hand, then tighten 1/4 turn with the tool

 

And for the new e.o, put in 3.2 Litres since the oil filter is changed right?

btw dont forget to tighten back the drainage nut for the EO .

Yes bro!!! to get more smoother, better change engine oil, spark plug, oil filer service carb n do a full setting with full system fffuuuhhhh, confirm u bike can fly... haha

cause my mechanic told me my carburetors tuning nt gd,so i was tinking whether to do the tuning together with the changing of engine oil & plugs,is there any difference?
