I see... Must cost a bomb for those OEM mirrors right? Lol...

Anyway I need advise. I want to order online Hotbodies rear hugger for Gen2 which is SGD197 excluding shipping. Pics as below:

Is the pricing ok? I have checked with my friends and they say good deal since most shops sells for $300+ minimum. Some more no brand.

There are high end replica mirror which is as good as the original for cheaper price, selling in Ebay. But don't worry abt the scratches. Otherwise you can try spraying it with paint everytime it get scratches. Very ex imho.

As for the hugger, is it really neccassary? Most of the time, it is hidden inside, being covered by the twin exhaust. If you running single exhaust setup, then may still be okay. Beside there is already one big hugger on our busa and that is our undertail.

Don't know much about the Gen1 but for the Gen2, there is a rubber piece protecting the shock from the dirt/water from the tire. Same for Gen1? So far my rear shock is look clean.

The reason why I intend to purchase is like you said, protect my shocks from dirt etc. But I didnt noticed that we have a rubber piece. Gotta check it out then.

Thanks for all the honest opinions!

Get one that comes with another piece that covers the front part of the chain too.

Hugger is good, less dirt and stains on the undertray of your busa especially for those who removed the stock mudguard.

It also prevent dirt on getting onto your rear shock for gen 1.
