hi brother's just a query just took a new busa which engine oil works best shell or mobil for this bike need recommendations thks guys

 

Mobil.Thats surely not my preference though.Although its within the specs of the recommended manual 10w40,I prefer engine oil that can withstand higher temperature thanks to our climate.Japan have 5 seasons.

Hi bros, i've encounter a problem wif my bike. Seems that sometimes the bike will hesitate before picking up again. I encounter it at speed of 160 even. Feels like power cut. Today at 120km/hr, i encounter the same thing. Any bros knows wad seems to be the problem ?

I've posted similar question on another forum. They were saying is either fuel pump or battery problem. Any bros ever encounter the same problem ?

As what they had said.

 

I encounter something like that before,

 

First time change

 

- rectifier

- coil

- batt

 

Then the problem go away for a while

 

Then it happens again

 

Changed the fuel pump

 

Till now so far so good

OEM fuel pump can be serviced at Motor Factor look for Alex.Or buy STP fuel system cleaner to try it out first.

Mine is not actually the fuel pump problem. Mine is like the fuel pump's filter.

 

Cost in the range of $350 + workmenship

OEM mirror should cost $100+ per side from local dealer. I know Gen2 speedo casing cost $300+, last check with Guan Hoe. Not sure about Gen1. At least can serve as a gauge. Go try source from EBay.

Hope the STP fuel injector cleaner works though...

 

It will work for sure tested and proven,as you will feel more smoother in acceleration.

But if its too dirty,one bottle may not be enough.The best would be sending for full servicing on your fuel system filter,your injectors plus throttle body.

One problem may lead to another unless otherwise.

Well, its cheap but i would not recommand the oem mirror to buy from ebay lar. The rivet area is weak.

Bro, just enquiring. If i wanna service my injectors and TBS, what must I tell to the bikeshop? Not all bikeshops knows how to service injectors i suppose?

 

I went to Racewerks to service both my throttle body and injectors.He have the ASNU machine and can tell you specifically which injectors are choked.

I also recently did mine at Racewerks at Bukit Merah and found 2 of the injectors dat need servicing w the ASNU m/c, I think next you are going to ask how much it costs, around $200 with Throttle Body Synchronising and 4 plugs replaced if I am not mistaken.

 

Forgot to add that my bike felt "light, agile and powderful" after dat. Fuel consumption came back to normal which is averaging 17 - 18 kms/ltr which was dropping to ard 16 kms/ltr last before servicing(my to and from work place mostly expressway). He didn't even nd to take off the fairings, just lifted up the tank to access the injectors.

I think he meant Throttle Body Synchronising. :-))
