Witness The Phenomenon ... :p

Suzuki Hayabusa soon will be eaten for breakfast ... :p

Pre alert done before crying at one corner.

Want to make your statements, suggest you do it to Japan Kawasaki ZX14R project in charge. :pity:

Getting one?Planning to trade in for this.Time to be a ninja killer perhaps?:p

Breakfast no,lunch i prefer.

Cry i wont,personally not necessary.

Why bother? It's more on the rider than the machine itself.

I assume you're on Gen II? I did asked the same question before not long ago.

For me, its just for cosmetic purposes. Other than that, it does not serve a purpose cus if you were to fix the powerbronze hugger, your stock chainguard must take out.

Furthermore, my purpose last time was to protect the rearshock but if you look closely at the undertail near your rearshock, there is a small piece of mudflap protecting your shock against dirt. = )

Abt the IU thing, I did mount like where previous posts has stated. I guess that is the only mounting point? As for me, I'm going to do a detachable unit soon as I seldom pass ERP.

Not for my hugger it comes together with the front chain guard and the rear is build together with the hugger.

Same for the IU part, but only difference been there done that.Tested and proven it works.

I bet once this is out, Suzuki will scramble and bring forward their schedule for Gen III. And once Gen III is out, the Gen II price will of course be much much more lower. Sigh...

Speaking of which, you guys already saw the 2012 colours? I think there are a few add ons to the bike but am not quite sure. Can check at Suzuki site.

Maybe only Suzuki knows that answer. For pricing, since the COE is currently so high and the Yen currency went up.I doubt so will drop much.

Very tempted. But judging from current bike pricing, it should be around $35k range. Coming from the era where big jap bike is only $20k+ range max, I would not bear to spent my hard earn money on something which I don't think I can maximised the power daily. But still THE bike to look out for.

hi people, I just got my bike and need to fix a new IU. can I ask normally where do you people put the IU?

If yours a Gen 2 plus using the smaller IU, you can put here like mine,

IMAG0191.jpg

I fabricate the bracket myself using 1.5mm stainless steel but still abit shakey. It is tighten to upper right top clamp brakcet bolt (the one with silver cap.

My friend actually tried dismantle the IU for experiment sake. Inside there is a small receiver and of course the card reader. As long the receiver is in range with the ERP gantry, basically you can hide the card reader anywhere. He did it on his car. So meaning for bike, you can hide the card reader in the seat compartment while connected to the battery. While extending the receiver to the dashboard area. But that is provided your IU has no more warranty.

I made a connector, when i need i just stop by the side of the road.Hook it up and ride slowly through the gantry. After that, repeat the same process but by removing it.Its a hassle but since i seldom used it at all.

Mine looked like brand new.

 I knew you will come in to say something ... :p

Self import and put it on the SG road will be under 25k. :p

Afterall is Jap bike, make every sense to do that. :p

I came back from Fraser Hills 2days ago, drop in when passby.

Not durian season yet, there is nothing there unless you have some special lobang. :p

Help you save your trip.

Alternatively, you and me can go to another place, only reveal after I turn up. :D

Obviously we knew each other for so long already during our PC days.

Well not possible or should i say it will be a tedious process?

Ahhh nice corners and sceneries i suppose?

No not into that special lobang.

Go other place quite difficult and almost unlikely.

Reason being you are the boss, dont need approval for leave and have to leave last minute for Malaysia trips. For Spore for feasible

I did that before, using a connector. But in the end the IU always make it way to the handlebar cause I find it a hassle to connect the IU. I also tried hiding it inside the rear seat. Funny thing is, it worked for a while but then out of sudden, it just simply won't be detected. Resulting in a few IU inspection. So it back to the handlebar again.

To me, as long I can find a spot where the IU can be slotted in nicely like what I did, I am fine with it. But I will try my friend method once the 5yrs warranty ended. Provided I'm still with this bike.

Yes thats true.Thats why i mentioned that i rode slowly.Stable enough.I will most likely have my bike for another 5 more years most likely.Going to renew my COE soon lol
