With regards to the brake "EEEEEEeeeee" sound, did you guys replaced back the metal plate which is behind the original pad? It supposed to help with reducing or eliminate the sound.

Just changed my brake pads to EBC HH 2 days ago. Noticed a faint eeeeeeeeeeeee sound from the brake pads. Is it supposed to be like this?

Apperantely from others' experience, it seems normal. Personally I haven't experienced it before from my previous rides. I just changed mine yesterday. Just do bedding in inside my carpark. Never hear any screeching sound yet. This morning can't ride due to rain. And I will try with and without the metal plate to hear the difference.

waaah uncle snake selling his busa....slluuurrpsss

the pic very familiar....like at ECP Tea Tarik Carpark. hahahah

hahaha...you're right!

nice bike with accs... i got mine at same price but ur accs is way much more & attractive ... haiz..

Sometimes buying a bike bike is fate lah

Bro, since the EBC HH pads are so good at stopping our beast, wouldn't it pose more danger for us (rear wheel lock)? Because the force taken to apply the rear brakes is usually more because our legs are less sensitive as compared to our fingers.

I can't imagine in a desperate situation I unconsciously apply hard force on the rear brakes thereby locking the rear wheel causing a fishtail effect. The consequence may be dire.

In my last shave with death, I was in the exact situation where I applied both front n rear brakes hard (on normal pads, stock rear brake caliper), it resulted in my bike fishtailing. So instead of gaining more traction to slow the bike down, the eventual effect was that my bike wasn't much slower.

I honestly won't think that changing the rear to EBC HH pads won't do us good.

My 2 cents worth.

HH is good enough for spore roads. (I'm using those now)

"eeeee" sound is normal for these pads...I like them..Higher temp rated pads always have this sound due the the brake dust they produce.

"pro" is good if you go track...to make things easier to understand I will only say this:

There are no perfect pad

You select them as per your application.

Rule of thumb:

Pads are classed by "friction coefficient"-the higher the value the more braking power

What we need to know:

higher temp rated pads: better brake power but needs time to warm up to working temp

so if you use a "race" pad on the road, during colder simulations, like just move off from overnight parking of in the rain, your brake may not work dat well...hope this helps

Review for gipro x series by me

Is fairly a easy install. Need to do some goggle to get answers on where the wires were.

Its not plug and play. Need to slice 3 wires.

Need to program the gear indicator. Which is quite easy.

It totally not for race use as sometimes I misread the position of the gears but only for a while. When u are at a still, it will not read out any gears just a dash.

Still worth my money, still read out my gears out when I need it.

my gen 2 L1 totally stock only go 260km then hit reserve liao.. damn **** for my mileage.. changing gear @ 4k rpm

The touring screen is taller by around 1.5" to 2"

Which I think it will really provides the wind protection..

But it just break the shape of our rides..

So I go for the double bubble..

Great improvement compare to the stock..

Btw guys..

How much mileage you all are getting before reserve?

Recently I'm getting more then 310km for a tank..

And now.. 335km and still running!!

Why not get the plug and play version? That is the wonderful thing about Suzuki. It came with a Gear Position sensor built in. Just plug in to the Gear Position Sensor (GPS) like the TRE. Flick the gear and you will get instant correct gear reading. No delay..

If you use splicing type, you need a certain rpm and speed before the right gear will be registered. Usually you will get wrong gear info when you clutch in or when RPM drop very low.

260~270km is "normal" for city, start go traffic. It is already better than some 1L bike.

Just experiment with the pad's metal plate. Without it, I am experiencing a slight faint EEEEEeeee sound especially when I am about to stop. Meaning when I am approaching a traffic junction, I press brake, it does not have the sound. But when I am about to stop, the sound appear. Not very loud or irritating enough.

With the plate, no more sound.

But my pad is still new. Maybe the sound might come later?

U are so true.

Got it as its 2nd hand but new and its cheap.

I also do have ivan tre so using the gps will not work.

Again it does its work n yah clutch in, on idle and low rpm will show incorrect gears. I don't track so I can live with some inaccuracy sometimes.

My company deals with Honda generator. The ultra compact model are EU10i and EU20i. You may pm me if you are interested. It can be quite sensitive to post the price here. But warn you first, it ain't cheap. It Can buy you brand new slip on. Just to let you have an idea. If you just want to know more about choosing a generator, I can also give you some advise. No obligation.

Been having these problem wif my busa for a few days hope u guyz cud help me figure out wat the problem is..

Last few days my bike hve been having problems starting up.. initially i tot it might be batt, rect or coil problem so i got it checked out.. But the mech checked it out and assured me that theres no problem with the batt, rect n coil.. And the funny thing is when i was at the workshop the bike started perfectly.. But he did said it might be my clutch sensor or clutch hydraulic.. So since it was already starting fine ill monitor it again this few days..

So fast track to today.. After i finish work start up the bike.. As i engage 1st gear my bike suddenly died coz it had dat at 'throw clutch' effect.. I had to restart a few times before it was ok.. So finally got it into gear i notice i had a hard time shifting to 2nd gear.. it was really hard trying to shift gear.. i had to clutch in for like 2 sec before i manage to shift gear.. same thing happen when i wanted to shift to 3rd.. but the rest of the gear seems fine..

So i hope the bros here cud shed me some light on wats wrong wif my bike.. My guess is it might be something to do with mg clutch system..
