I was reading up on the hayabusa stuttering problem and came across the pashnit forum where got people say that after market exhaust might have fowled the plugs due to not enough back pressure. Will this happen ? Coz i recently change to a GPR with Y pipe. No catalyzer.

currently using fiberglass fairings which ex owner said it was from usa.

lets see how the fairing will handle over long use.

good thing about oem its "flexible"

bad thing is its expensive and heavy

Possible, that's y do homework first before any mod....

Try change back to stock and monitor....

Yes i do agree especially on their paintwork.Ahhh on the parts on yellow,cant withstand heat and hold during crash.Thats new for me lol.

Fiberglass can easily be repaired and restored.

 

The yellowing is actually on the white paint near the hot spot of the bike. As for the inability to hold up in crash, tested and proven myself. Painful.... But I bought the ealier batch of the China fairing when it cost around 1k odd shipped. Feel like carrot now.. I think it has been improved.

 

Not only feel cheap,it's filmsy too.Its attached to an adapter and its made of lousy plastic.I had feel first hand on a Honda 600cc bike.FOC for me i am also not interested.

 

Mine has free play up and down. Plus the anodise coating faded.

 

 

Yes Monday bluess.Hand itchy for a new aftermarket part for your ride i see hee hee.Not speedking but those made in Thailand,looks quite similar.

Now it should be cheaper thanks to the exchange rate,your's the pioneer batch.They had improved it by now.Tested and proven by many other riders.

Same as the one i felt on a CBR 600.It felt as if it will fall off anytime while riding.Hmmm maybe eihter made in Hong Kong and not China.

Well it's norm thing for many women,a hobby and a status kind of thingy i suppose.We apparantly have different type of hobbies as pretty obvious due to different gender.The brand is the first thing that comes into their mind,next will be the design and price tag.Wow that sucks,sorry to hear that.Part and parcel for many in marriage life.Best of luck

It has always been ABS plastic. Maybe the recent batch are made of better quality ABS plastic material.

my flip up lever is also made fron china

 

the clutch lever did not fit proper. the oem stalk that is pushing the pump piston seems "shorter". did not want to waste my money, i diy something. now it works.

Anyone has problem starting the bike when the engine is hot?? I have this problem esp when i ride after awhile n uoff the engine but it wont start immediately.. need to try a few times den it will start.. hmm.. wondering if its my batt.. but it will only happen when engine is hot..

i really guess most busa has similier problem.

 

i too had this issue when in q ing at customs. cant push bike since its quite heavy. so have to let the engine run. headlight off , fan on. it will still get hot. will off it if its gonna red line. as soon as i off it. turn it back on. cant crank.

 

but now after changing to lithium batt. so far so good. maybe it is still new.

Keep stock, save time and headache and use the time go do somemore more constructive. :p

Your jerking happen when u wide open throttle (WOT) ? Or when?

If WOT, try to clean fuel injector and load it. I know racewerk does it.

As in simulate. Cause faulty injector may cause opposite reaction. Instead give u more fuel but shut them. Cause u to have jerk.
