Bro, you changed your steering damper oil yet? You can try 10wt fork oil. Just changed mine, I feel better than stock but yet not that tight.

Ok lah. At least it is cheap and easy to try. Just use STP on my bike few weeks ago also. But if problem still persist, might still have to look at the fuel pump. May be your fuel strainer is clogged.

Seems like there's abit of improvement. But yesrterday still stutter once.

Bro, may i know wad's a fuel strainer ? And the effects of a clogged fuel strainer will coz random/slow speed stutter ?

Fuel strainer is the filter inside the fuel pump. Maybe there sone big dirt inside the filter that might obstruct the fuel flow?

Actually my friend k3 1000 has the same symptoms as yours. He tried a a lot of things and also the STP. Also feel Lesser occurrence after that. In the end, got a used fuel pump online and now everything okay.

But I will still suggest you check whether the fuel pump is spoilt or servicable before making the decision to change to a new one. 3 things to check the fuel pump,

1) pressure

2) flow volume

3) filter

strainer is the white looking thing, acts as a pre-filter for the fuel filter

Screen should be something like a mesh filter? Mesh filter is part no. 3. There are 2 filters inside the fuel pumps, one is high pressure and one is low pressure. Apperantely Gen 1 and 2 fuel pump is slightly different. For your case, I would suggest cleaning parts 2 and 3 if possible.

Huh? Whats your idling rpm? Is it very low? Have to keep above 1k rpm. If it stutter and die, it sound more like insufficient fuel delivery. Go check if the fuel pump is working properly after assembling it back. Check the pressure and flow volume. The method is stated inside the service manual. Focus on making sure one is okay before going to the next one.

My gear indicator seems to be going berserk. Can a faulty gear indicator or gear sensor cause the stutter ?

Seems weird. Maybe ride for a few days and monitor.

As what bugsy mentioned, check your wiring and connection. Or you can unplug the GI connector from the GPS and see if it is dirty (if yes, clean with contact cleaner) and reconnect back again.

If GPS fail, it should prompted a FI code, then in turn, it will trigger the fail safe mapping (supposed to be neutral mapping). Your bike will be sluggish. But since yours no FI code, shouldn't be the case.

I can only think of throttle body cleaning and syncro next but might not be neccassary. We may not know if your problem is a combination of multiple problem as well.

Bro, I really feel your fustration.

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and recently bought over my cousins Hayabusa.

First mod I want to do is change pipe. Anyone has any "lobangs" for a reasonable priced pipe? I don't go for performance.
