I'll likely be blasting up for a 2 day 1 night trip to Malacca with a riding buddy.. If any of you guys are interested, let me know..

 

No frills trip.. Just some dudes having a good day out with our toys..

 

Drinks session weekday or weekend is good? Let's say 8.30pm onwards.. Let me know so that I can sort of organize one..

 

If no response, I'll meet up with the Kawa boys instead..

Any of you guys ever have a hot-start issue? Basically, when hot, the bike refuses to start. Symptoms is like weak battery. Lights and dashboard goes blank. After leaving it to cool for an hour (temp below 70C) bike starts as usual.

 

I towed it to Mah and battery was replaced and injectors cleaned out. Butt now having the same problem. I suspect my starter motor is showing high load when hot. Seems like a common problem with Tuonos.

 

I wonder if wrapping the exhaust will help manage the heat being transmitted to all the electrical parts around the exhaust.

Dear fellow rsv4 riders, im having a problem and Im kinda lost about it. Hope someone can enlighten me on the issue.

 

My bike dosent warm itself up like it used to. Meaning to say i have to hold the throttle to maintain a higher RPM, otherwise the engine stalls. Once the bike is warmed up, totally no issues with starting. But once I leave it for hours and the bike cools down, i have to hold the throttle again until the temp is ard 70deg. Hope i can have some advice from u guys. Many thanks.

1. Check ignition coil

2. Check wire harness which runs along the frame below the air box. You might have a sintered cable.

Date is tentatively on 17th & 18th April (Wed & Thurs).

 

Shoot up on Wednesday morning say 8am. Arrive at about noon time. Chill, makan, minum, gamble..

 

Thursday morning about 11am check out and head back to SG. Stop at JB for famous nasi lemak or roti prata..

 

If you guys wanna stretch the legs of the RSV4, I'll bring mine as well.. You guys wanna do some off-roading, I'll bring my Tiger..

 

If you guys wanna try scootering, let's head up with my SYM..
