CBF150 can go up to thailand?

safe anot?

they got parts in Thailand?

Because of him the lame walked briskly,

And the songless through him burst into melody.

hi, anyone knows how is the current security situation in Hatyai? is it risky to travel there or things have calmed down abit?

Just came back from there yesterday via car, no security issues at all.... Stayed at Regency for 3days 2 nights. Intend to head up again...either this weekend or next month via Bike (CB400). Should any one be interested to join me... drop me a PM.

Cheers!

hi,

just asking who to contact in M'sia if we encountered a tyre puncture on the way to Hatyai?

understand for SG bikes only need Thai vehicle insurance before we can enter Thailand, right?

What sort of paperwork do we need to bring along (besides the e-logcard)?

Where do we purchase the insurance?

Thanks!

PS: Any highly recommended shops to wrap Wave125 seats in Hatyai? Approx how much?

Thai insurance can be bought at the border..

There will be few shop selling insurance.. Much cheaper than Sg price

Bring a tyre repair kit along to DIY & the hassle, unless hole is beyond repair..

If you are lucky, the malaysia highway recovery truck may appear to help you. But if i am you, I will do either one. For east of mind. When you heading up? Maybe we can plan together

1. Do anti puncture application on the tires. Ban Hock Hin has this service.

2. Bring along tires repair kit.

To wrap seat in Hatyai. It is located near to Diana Shopping centre

Anyone going to hatyai in Dec? Me and a friend wanna go but we're still newbie.

So if anyone organising, we are more than happy to join you for the trip!

Both of us are riding kups.

Well, I'm tentatively planning a leisurely 5D4N ride up from 2-6 Dec with a friend of mine. I ride a DRZ400SM, and he'll be driving an old E-class Merc behind me (no, seriously).

The plan is to push up for dinner and an overnight at George Town, with lunch in KL, then cross the border and check in after lunch at Hat Yai the next day. One full day and another night at Hat Yai before heading back, with lunch in Ipoh and an overnight in Malacca, then brunch and a (relatively) short ride straight home.

We aim to travel at an average 110kph, with bursts up to 120-30 to overtake when necessary. Are you comfortable riding that fast?

Erm, why not you 2 sit in the Merc and split the cost? And you won't have any issue with communication or breaking contact. You could save the riding trip for other time?
