hahaha i just saw elson before entering to my carpark! he is going to run omgosh at 11.30pm+

 

he stays just one block away from me hahaha omgosh such a small singapore. i was entering then i shouted AAA INSTRUCTOR!!! then i stopped in the middle of the road to talk to him hahaha so funny!!

I dun think there is defensive riding lessons in SG... I only know now got the expressway lesson...

i think i have seen the defensive riding course pamphlet somewhere in cdc before.

or maybe i remember it wrong.

but i have seen a few of the instructors going through fig.8 with only right hand on handle bar, i'm sure they teach defensive..

ya. saw elson pillioning a fellow learner, going in circles super fast, with one hand, and actually turning his head to talk to the pillion. she was scared half to death!

hi. thank you so much to you all. hmm. i feel that i'm quite comfortable and confident with riding. maybe overconfident even. the funny thing is there are some instructors who recognize me (prolly cos i'm in there for 1 year already) say that they see me ride in road revision (my booklet the revision part stamp until need to staple a new piece of paper to stamp) and they say i'm already riding quite well and they are also very puzzled why i cannot pass. they say its not up to them but the TP testers to decide who pass or fail. i don't blame anybody. but i really wanna pass asap. i just pass my class 3. is class 3 or class 2b easier to pass? i won't let my beloved bike suffer i sub ride my bf then he can bring her out some times. haha.

i went before. you'll go for about 1hr of theory lesson, similar to the DRT which we supposed to go for when we take 2b license. Then the rest of the day its riding. they teach you counter-steering, and steering in tight corners. also doing figure-8 v quickly, with multiple bikes, all at the same time. we also make use of the slope to do turning. and we try out bumpy course, standing (like class 2a and Class 2). And also the plank, standing. and then random wild riding. mount kerb on to grass patch. that time i went, was a class of about 8 people. most of us couldn't do the super tight corner steering, we had to do 3-point turn. also quite common to fall down.

 

After riding my own bike, and then using back the sch's YBR125 bikes, was very hard to adjust to. their bikes really very chui.

they run regular lessons. you can call up CDC to ask when is the next lesson. Then you need to go there in person to book the lesson. It's about $53 or something. If you are riding to CDC, don't park your bike outside the back gate. You are going to be there for almost 5 hrs, high chance to tio summon. Park in the motorcycle lots just down the road.

50bucks to make the license, they will issue you one slip and you can ride with that. the card will come within a month time

thank you. i try before liao lei. 1st TP is scared, innocent and i-don't-know-anything mode. 2nd TP is confident mode. 3rd TP is sian+relax mode. 4th TP is overconfident, arrogant, "i know what i am doing" mode. all fail! lol!

Basically you simply have to continue practicing the various obstacles until you are able to pass them 95% of the time.

Continue practicing the ones you're having difficulty.

Make sure to check all blindspots, and if in doubt ask the instructors.

During test, have to relax but be confident enough to pass all of the obstacles. Then kao tim liao...

Need to pay $50 to make the license. They'll issue you a paper saying you passed, which you can use in the meantime. The photocard license will be sent to your house in about 2-3 weeks.
