sat planet tgt leh

At this rate we can actually run Dr Chong's business for him. nabil can specialise in super4s I can tune up Phantoms myself, just get me the parts lol.

KJ leh? Erm, I don't know if Hyosung uses standard Japanese tooling. I know Planet can't do Pulsars because they need funny tools... oil change also don't want to do.

12 September (Sunday) Changi Picnic / Top Gear Singapore Rounding + Bike Reviews + Technical Small Talk

eek did I type sunset at 6.15am. Oh well daydreaming of the States again (12 hour time diff!)

I'll be doing some homework to try and find some more obscure roads for Sunday. KJ has joined me for just 2 sessions (east & west routes) and we've covered all the interesting roads already.

We are T minus 15 hours to launch, the event attendance is finalised.

Logistics and navigation all green.

Note:

We will be making occasional stops at scenic locations and to do bike reviews. Bring cameras if you want to!

I know the location, right next to Planet Motors, easy :D

Weather forecast - possible thunderstorm in north-central Singapore. But it was clear and sunny yesterday, so screw it. If there aren't any heavy cloud formations over Woodlands at 9am, we're all clear.

All participants returned to base safely. As usual with the TPY midnight crew, everyone was highly professional and we didn't hold up traffic with our 'common sense' convoy rules. Nay, we made the roads more pleasant with American-style highway ops :D

Before that one of us was treated to a pleasant dining experience with Victorian-esque service at a golf course, hmmm :3

My predictions on weather and road conditions were also spot on, we made very fast progress through semi-restricted industrial highways that were very fun to ride on! Need for Speed Most Wanted! As for weather, it was TOO good and I tuned my ride for desert temperatures (over-rich for maximum cooling and high end torque, 'take off power' settings if you have a piston engine pilots' license) which made for an interesting experience starting the little dinosaur up. It was as noisy as a WW2 fighter aircraft lol!

As usual I will post the video ASAP. See if you can ID the locations.

Just reached home and saw thunderstorm approaching.

Weather control sorcery 1 - Nature 0

Though I want to complain. I asked for 'good' weather, I got "too good weather" and now look like char siew!
