Duplicate key can go to the shop besides regina. But to programme it.......that i dont know. I think out of security reason, shops dont anyhow programme your the bike/car keys. Maybe they worried that the customer had stolen the keys. I stand to be corrected though.

Btw i remember seeing this service at bukit indah jusco level 1

you need to buy the key with chip and get it duplicate. Any major bike shop should be able to do it. I did mine at Bt merah. since there is also a key shop there. oil filter wrench any major hardware shop should have. Get those with cup that fits in to the end of the oil filter and using a spanner to turn it.

For key duplicate i thnink they can only programme max 3-4 keys if i am not wrong for each bike..

i had similar problem from an 06 model previously. I had posted somehwere on the other thread on what were done...somehow the problem just goes away till today. Probably could be due to :

fuel

air/fuel ratio

plugs

autochoke ( from some online forum they claim these parts wear up over time)

fuel injector ( not sure which part but there is a very fine small hole that may get clog up)

i try adding additives and replaced plugs. tried different sg/my fuels( occasionally pump jb ). problems solved temporary. The whole thing starts to improve after i send the fuel injector for servicing...looks nothing much to clean, but the mech point out to me to the fine hole...he was aware of what i did to the bike since the problme start...of course there could be other reasons that i may not be able to point out...but hope you get some directions.

But yours is a new ride which shouldnt have all these problem coming up...

I'm having the same issue now as well, since it was 3 mth old also. Bike is now a 7 mth old ST1300A08. Living with it for now, but I realized that if i park on side stand over night the problem doesn't happen the following morning (previously I always on main stand). Could probably be the way the wax harden in the SE thermal valve. Previously I've tried different EO, changed spark plugs, changed air filter, didn't resolve the issue. I might try changing coolant next to see how.

There are some info online that point out possible causes of the issue, but they all cannot be easily DIY resolved.

Last resort will be to bring to Boon Siew b4 my 1 year warranty is up. Will have to produce stamped warranty card and leave the bike there overnight.

You might want to just bring it to Boon Siew and let them troubleshoot, see what they say. But take a video of the issue and try the parking overnight on side stand thing first, so that you can tell them your findings first. Later you go BS, they leave your bike on side stand overnight then tell you no problem then you might have a hard time proving them otherwise

I'd probably gonna try DIY removing my airbox and check/clean the starter valves on one my free weekends or off days first...

Steps to get to the throttle bodies

What are the starter valves:

Bro talk to some STOC old bird, they will tell you more, I had the same problem, I live with it till recently, found out that STX is not suitable for iridium spark plug, so I buang 2 set of the plug one for high rev one standard set, and use back the normal standard Denso plug, still cough for 2 days, after that everything went back to normal condition, not more warm up idling dead..... hope it helps, Ben said the same thing too... :)

I have the same problem with my 08 model.

Just used a small bottle of FP60, and the problem will gone.

Before this, I try everything, flush the coolen, new air filter, nothing works.

Try it.

Using additive on the bike have to think first. In this case, you might have to use the additive continously. If not when you not using the additive anymore, you will feel that the bike a bit different. Just my 2 cents.

You are right, so I ONLY used ONE bottle. I think it's a 200ml bottle.

I finished the bottle more than 6 months ago, autochoke problem all gone.

Not recommend using this kind of product for long term as it will damage your engine.

Second thing is DO NOT PUMP FUEL FROM MALAYSIA, at least when you are not going north.

According to one of my friend in the industry, their fuel quality not so good thought cheaper.

But you can only save about $30 per month. Why take the risk?

I use only 95 and above in singapore.

lol, hey remember to ask them to pump full tank in Malaysia before coming to Singapore. They can transfer 'lousy" petrol into my bike.
